ellixi Balancing Moisturizer is a thick, rich and creamy moisturizer that offers skin deep moisture. Shea Butter, which is its first ingredient, nourishes the skin and provides it with deep and sustained moisture, and it locks in hydration. However, while one might think that the Shea Butter indicates that this moisturizer is intended for dry skin alone, this smart moisturizer also includes Tea Tree Oil. The latter ingredient has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that reduces irritation, redness and it helps to combat breakouts. For my normal to combination skin, I have noticed that it leaves my skin moisturized, balanced as well as soft and smooth. I have even tried it on my hands, and it works quite well in its capacity to hydrate and heal dry and chapped hands.
