I have tried numerous products from Twelve Beauty, a gorgeous Spanish brand, and I simply cannot say enough good things about their incredible products. The Twelve Beauty Rewarding Body Balm is a real game-changer for dry, irritated and sensitive skin, and this season my skin has been unusually dry.

About Twelve Beauty,

Twelve Beauty, a Spanish brand, was founded by Pedro Catalá who fuses his scientific knowledge in pharmacy, botany and cosmetology with 20 years of expertise in plants and herbology, into a unique approach for modern urban skincare.

Pedro's  philosophy and emphasis has always been on how to gently take care of the skin so that the skin is at its strongest, healthiest, glowiest best! We are huge fans of Pedro at the Boxwalla HQ. He has always eschewed meaningless skincare trends and instead chosen some of the most thoughtful and effective botanical extracts for his formulations:  Imperatoria leaf extract, Mallow flower extract, Butterfly bush leaf extract, White genepi extract & Fleischer’s Willow herb extract. Each plays a unique role in his formulations.

Twelve Beauty Rewarding Body Balm is a gorgeous body balm is aptly described as a "lush body pudding"– and it really must be experienced to be believed. The velvety texture of this thick and rich cream melts into the skin leaving it indescribably soft, smooth, deeply moisturized and luminous. The antioxidant-rich formula adds a layer of protection against free-radical damage, and the soothing and nourishing ingredients pamper the skin. The light aroma is luscious and exhilarating, but is neither imposing, nor long lasting. It is the perfect pick for dry skin that really needs deep moisture.

According to Twelve Beauty and Boxwalla,

This lush body pudding is made with unrefined olive Squalane, which is a great ingredient to protect the skin and provide elasticity to the skin. It includes butters like Cupuaçu butter that restores moisture and elasticity, Spent Grain Wax that consists mainly of linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid required for regeneration of the epidermal permeability barrier. It also contains some very carefully chosen botanical organic extracts like antioxidant-rich Buddleja extract, repairing Imperatoria extract, soothing Mallow extract, and more!

After much brainstorming, the founder and Lavanya decided to make this potion even more special by customizing it with an extraordinary ingredient that he calls 'a ray of light for your skin': Acerola fruit extract! This is a very powerful antioxidant that is rich in Vitamin C and bioflavonoids. Says the founder: 'It also has a strong moisturizing action due to containing dextrose, fructose, and other sugars.'

Directions: Apply generously all over the body with a light massage. Perfect after shower or bath.
