As previously noted, dearcloud is an affordable Korean skincare brand that makes wonderful products:

Born from a team of passionate AAPI-founded beauty industry experts, dearcloud™ is your new source of next-generation, researched-backed essentials – suncare, skincare, bath and body, cosmetics, accessories and tools – composed of today’s best-loved (and most effective) ingredients

...Each cruelty-free skin-perfecting formula is curated from South Korea with a blend of high-performance elements for radiance, clarity, and youthfulness – from start to finish.

Inspired by the natural shade provided by clouds, dearcloud™ products offer a shield that helps to safeguard your skin from the damaging effects of the sun. In fact, dearcloud™ offers the 1st full line of Korean sun care (for both face and body) to be certified by the FDA. It is important to note that while several other k-beauty brands offer SPF options, they are not FDA-certified.

dearcloud new/youth collagen cream with niacinimide + algae is a lightweight, and yet very emollient, cream that melts into the skin and leaves behind no greasy residue. The charming cloud-shaped container puts a smile on my face each time I reach for this cream. The brightening formula leaves skin luminous, and the antioxidant-rich formula protects skin from free-radical damage. Furthermore, it leaves skin soft, smooth, hydrated and supple. I do not detect a scent, though the ingredients do list fragrance.

    1. Hi there, the Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, the 3rd ingredient, is a compound made from coconut oil and glycerin. There are lots of extracts in the list of ingredients, but they do not list the oils. I hope that this helps. The full list of ingredients is shown above.

    2. So is this product bad for pores and acne because of the oils/coconut oil? Coconut oil congests skin and can worsen acne. I may be allergic to cica and or the algae ingredient.

    3. The research that I did suggests that Caprylic/capric triglyceride is non-comedogenic, meaning it does not clog pores for most people. This ingredient is derived from coconut oil, and that is comedogenic, and is known to clog pores in that form. That said, you should discuss the ingredients with your doctor to see if they think it is a product that you should avoid. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, or even think that you are, then I would just avoid this product altogether. You might consider researching the ingredients further, and talking to your doctor about it. I typically bring the product along with the list of ingredients to my doctor to get advice. Any time that there are ingredients that I am unsure about, I talk to my doctor to see if I should just avoid the products containing them. I have had far too many skin reactions from products that I have put on my skin over the years, and I no longer am willing to try anything that could potentially cause a reaction. My skin isn't acne prone, but it can be sensitive to certain ingredients, and therefore I am very careful about what I try. It sounds to me, based upon what you have said, that you should skip this face cream.
