I have to admit, it took me quite a while to really warm up to the idea of using a dry shampoo between hair washings, but once I gave it a try in earnest I understood precisely why this is a holy grail product for so many people. It not only refreshes the hair and scalp, but it also revives hairstyles and adds volume. Since I have naturally curly hair, that tends to be a little on the dry side, I do not wash my hair every single day, and a good dry shampoo goes a long way during those in-between periods. As I noted the other day, I have recently become acquainted with the British haircare brand, Lee Stafford London, and I am very pleased to say that they make a seriously worthwhile dry shampoo.

Lee Stafford Scalp Love Skin-Kind Dry Shampoo is no ordinary dry shampoo, and in fact it is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid. Therefore, rather than drying out the hair and scalp this one actually imparts hydration. It is gentle and calming on sensitive skin, and it does everything that one expects from a dry shampoo. It has a light and pleasant aroma, but it is neither long-lasting, nor cloying.

According to Lee Stafford,

Tackling scalp issues head-on, this invisible Dry Shampoo has been designed to boost root volume without dryness, thanks to skincare-favourite ingredient Hyaluronic Acid to look after sensitive scalps. With skincare favourite ingredient Hyaluronic Acid, chosen for its hydrating properties, and natural Rice Starch Extract to help absorb oil without stripping moisture.

Features and Claims:

  • The lowdown: Not your average dry shampoo, this formula is gentle on sensitive scalps, absorbing excess oil and building volume without any powdery residue.
  • You'll love it because: It's super gentle on the scalp, which means you can refresh hair in between washes without worrying about irritation.
  • The result? Gives hair a speedy clean and root refresh (so they'll never know you're in between washes).
  • How it works: Calms your scalp while absorbing excess oil, giving limp roots and hair a refresh.
  • The star ingredient: Skincare-favourite Hyaluronic Acid helps calm sensitive scalps.

Directions: Give Lee Stafford Scalp Love Skin Kind Dry Shampoo a good shake before use, then mist directly onto roots. Massage with fingertips to build volume or texture, or for a smooth, polished finish, brush through to distribute shampoo evenly. Ready for hair wash day again? Squeeze Scalp Love Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo onto wet hair, massaging the scalp to gently clean without stripping moisture. Rinse really well to avoid product build up (this can weigh roots down).

Pro-Tips: Use after exercise to avoid that greasy feeling. Don't worry this scalp loving hero won't dull your natural shine!
