I have several scalp massage brushes to use in the shower while she, mpooing and conditioning my hair, but the Lee Stafford London Shampoo Massage Brush is the one that I am reaching for the most these days.

About Lee Stafford,

Lee Stafford launched in Boots in the UK in 2001. Known as the ‘the pink brand’ the range featured bold and quirky packaging with a barcode on the front of pack, some very unusual writing and quirky product names. The brand instantly got attention!

According to Lee Stafford,

Pssst. The secret to healthy, happy hair? It starts with the scalp. Our Shampoo Massage Brush was created to stimulate the scalp, buffing away dead skin cells and removing product build up to help support healthy hair growth. This exfoliating brush that feels soft on the scalp, is easy to grip and effective to use, the perfect in-shower treatment for speedy scalp care.

The root of healthy hair starts at the scalp, and the Lee Stafford Shampoo Massage Brush was designed with this in mind. The perfect tool to help maintain healthy hair, it's made with soft, silicone tips that help to gently exfoliate the scalp. Massage in circular motions to sweep away dead skin cells and stimulate the scalp, all in one easy to use brush.

Features and Claims:

  • The lowdown: A scalp-massaging brush that gently exfoliates, helping maintain a healthy scalp.
  • You'll love it because: It supercharges your shampoo to deeply cleanse, exfoliate and stimulate the scalp in your shower.
  • How it works: Soft, silicone tips exfoliate the scalp, removing product build up and dead skin cells and stimulate the scalp.
  • The star ingredient: Soft silicone tips gently exfoliate without feeling abrasive on the scalp.
  • Is it right for me? Yes, if you're looking for a scalp-massaging treat to make your shampoo more effective.
  • The result? Soft, silky hair with zero product build up at the root.

Lee Stafford London Shampoo Massage Brush is an effective scalp massaging brush that works wonders when I use it on the days that I shampoo and condition my hair. It gently massages and exfoliates the scalp with its soft silicone tips. It helps to loosen and remove product buildup and stimulates the scalp when I am shampooing my hair. However, I use it again when I am conditioning or masking my hair, and I find that it helps impart greater moisture to my scalp.

Lee Stafford London Tips & Directions:

Step 1. Double cleanse hair and scalp with Lee Stafford Hair Growth Activation Shampoo.

Step 2. On the second cleanse, once shampoo has built into a light lather, exfoliate the scalp with the Shampoo Massage Brush. Work in circular motions to remove product build up and dead skin cells, for a clean, fresh scalp. Rinse really well.

Step 3. Towel dry and apply a palmful of Lee Stafford Bigger Fatter Fuller My Big Fat Root Boost Mousse Spray from root to tip.

Step 4. For a bouncy blow dry look, dry section by section using the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow Out Brush.

Step 5. For a high shine boost, mist Lee Stafford Shine Head Shine Spray at an arm's length all over your finished blow dry.

Overall Assessment: I really love the way that this massage brush feels against my scalp, and it lives up to its claims.
