Furthermore, it has a twist up applicator and a small sharpener at the bottom to sharpen the tip of the crayon itself. However, I do not bother with sharpening it since I use it all over my lips as a lipstick, and therefore like the duller tip and wider base. Not only is it the nicest, and most versatile, lip liner in my collection, but it is also by far the most affordable at $13.00.
According to Sephora,
A retractable lip liner with innovative gel-cream formula to enhance the lip contour for a long-lasting, softer appearance. Comes with a built-in sharpener for easy application.
Unique, soft texture of this creamy-gel lip liner's non-drying, innovative, formula glides on lips with ease. Creates fuller-looking lips. Provides a color-matched base for Sephora's existing top-selling #Lipstories and Cream lipsticks.
Directions:
- Apply first to the outer lines of lips to create the perfect contour.
- For added benefit, gradually fill in color all over lips to create the perfect lip base for any Sephora Collection Cream lipsticks.
- Use the included built-in sharpener at the base of each pencil before pencil use.
Precautions:
- Make sure to close the cap tightly to prevent premature drying of this creamy formula.
- The creamy texture of this formula is unlike any lip liners on the market. It is imperative that you are gentle when applying lip pencil to lips as the tips are super soft and will bend with too much force.
Overall Assessment: This has turned into my most reached-for lip product, and I love it so much that I am ordering another one.

Hi, Lola - It's amazing that Sephora would have the best color and consistency than you can find in any other brand! It's the same with my new favorite lipstick. My best color has been Indian Coral from JAFRA for decades and then they discontinued it! :( I found something similar from Wet 'n' Wild, of all things, because I saw it on a waitress and a vlogger. It's a close replacement, although I prefer the lipstick shade that is now nonexistent. The color is called Sunset Peach. Thanks for sharing this find! - Angie, www.yourtrueselfblog.com
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, Wow you really lucked out that your replacement is from Wet 'n' Wild– that is definitely an affordable replacement. When my sister said that she found our old cool nude shade, I couldn't believe it! I ordered it immediately and as soon as I tried it, I was in love! I actually love it so much that I ordered a second one so that I have one in my purse and one at home. It is definitely worth checking out all of their shades because they have a good selection!
DeleteOooooh, I could use this lipliner! I love that it has a retractable tip as well as a sharpener. I usually can't use a liner all over my lips because it's too drying, but this one is worth trying out. TYVM <3
ReplyDeleteThe formula and color are really fantastic, Allison. I usually can't fill in my lips with a lipliner for the same reason that you don't, but my sister specifically said that this liner is so amazing because you can! It is misleading that they call it a matte formula because it has some sheen. I either use it alone, or I top it with a gloss or lipstick, and it is really stunning. I don't bother to use the sharpener since I fill in my lips with this, and therefore I don't need a fine point. Plus I don't want to waste any! I am so delighted by this that I already bought a second one so that I have one in my purse and the other at home! I highly recommend this, and prefer it to the luxury lipliners that I have!
