/skin regimen/ ginger cleansing oil is made in Italy by the Davines Skincare Division, and thus I had very high expectations for this product. I love Davines haircare products, and I have used for many years– therefore, I was delighted when I first learned that they had a skincare line.
This cleansing oil is extraordinarily lovely from its texture, to its smell, to its unmistakable efficacy. It is a mid-weight oil, with a gorgeous light ginger aroma, that feels like velvet on the skin. I apply it to dry skin and I massage it for about a minute before I wet my hands and continue to massage it into the skin. As soon as the oil is introduced to the water it turns into a creamy white emulsion. It lifts impurities, dirt and makeup with tremendous efficacy and it leaves skin soft, smooth and hydrated. You can use it alone, or as the first step in your double cleansing routine. I love to double cleanse, most of the time, and when I do I simply use my cleanser after I emulsify this cleansing oil. This is the embodiment of the perfect cleansing oil, in my humble opinion.
According to /skin regimen/,A gentle cleansing oil that is particularly suitable for undernourished skin. The soothing oils also help relax the face muscles and counteracts the effects of stress. Its full-bodied texture is rich in skin-compatible oils that help remove makeup, SPF, and pollution. It leaves the skin pleasantly soft and lightly scented with subtle notes of ginger. For All skin types.

Wow, does this oil sounds fabulous! I really love ginger, and I am tempted by the ginger aroma. I had no idea that Davines made skincare products. When I make some headway on all the cleansers I currently have, this will be my next try.
ReplyDeleteIt really is fabulous, Allison. I think that you would really like it– especially since you love ginger as well!
DeleteSounds delightful and one that will get a lot of love from you.
ReplyDeleteIt really is delightful, Marcia! I am over the moon about this cleansing oil!
DeleteI love this face wash. I just started using this brand after using lush. My face looks so much better. It is brighter, less discoloration and no breakouts! I use this as my 2nd wash when double cleansing. I would love a recommendation for the first cleanser.
ReplyDeleteHi Jc, Thanks for stopping by. I love this cleansing oil as well! I only ever use cleansing oils as my first cleaner in a double cleansing routine and then I use something that foams or lathers to remove any residual cleansing oil. That is the most effective method for my skin. Do you tend to do the opposite? Do you have dry skin and that is why you end with the cleansing oil?
