Affordable Wellness Picks for a Healthy 2022

A lot of the healthier, or greener, products on the market are prohibitively expensive, but you to do not have to spend a fortune to get high quality products. I have rounded up a few products that are affordable, cruelty-free, a pleasure to use and they won't put a big dent on your credit card.

MyChelle Incredible Pumpkin Peel ($25.50 for 1.2 oz. from MyChelle): This potent peel, "harnesses a powerful blend of pumpkin puree and extracts" that gently and naturally exfoliate dead skin cells to help renew the complexion  Skin is left soft, smooth and luminous. MyChelle makes first rate products the are cruelty-free and that you can feel good about using.

According to MyChelle, "Powerful bioactive Pumpkin blend exfoliates dead skin cells to clear away impurities, while fruit extracts encourage renewal for a smoother, more radiant complexion."

Directions: Shake well before use. Apply a thin layer 1-2 times per week after cleansing. Avoid eye area. Leave on for 3-5 minutes. Slight tingling may occur. Rinse thoroughly. Patch test before use.

MyChelle Pumpkin Renew Cream ($30.00 for 1.2 oz. from MyChelle): This lovely moisturizing cream, which is made with Pumpkin Seed Oil, is fast absorbing and  lightweight. It nourishes, balances, and replenishes the skin and it prevents dehydration.

According to MyChelle, "A lightweight, daily moisturizer with antioxidant-rich Cloudberry Extract and Pumpkin Seed Oil to protect and nourish skin. Astaxanthin, Shea Butter and Vitamin E replenish and balance skin’s moisture levels to prevent dehydration."

They also make a wonderful Nail Polish Remover Gel (Regularly Price $7.99, currently on sale for $6.99 from SOPHi). Additionally, SOPHi is cruelty-free and vegan.

CRYSTAL’s Mineral Enriched Magnesium Deodorants ($10.99 for 2.5 oz each from CVS and Amazon): are definitely long-lasting, and they do not include aluminum or baking soda– both of which can irritate delicate skin under the arms. I will say that this deodorant is a little bit less emollient than many that I have tried, and therefore it has a decidedly drier texture. However, my skin is sensitive in my underarm area, and I found that these deodorants glided across my skin without tugging, pulling or irritating the skin in the least bit. I can also attest to the fact that they do not stain my clothes with unpleasant white marks. CRYSTAL is  a cruelty-free brand.

I love the scent of each of them, and while it will take me forever to use them all up, I will say that I like them enough to purchase them in the future.

Overall Assessment: I highly recommend these products, and if you are trying to find healthier products that are affordable, then these are definitely worthy of consideration.
