This microencapsulated retinol gel sounds ideal!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a smart delivery system, and it doesn't negatively impact the product efficacy!
DeleteHi, Lola - It's nice to hear about a retinol product that manages to be gentle on the skin, because this ingredient is heavy duty! Who better to come up with a perfectly balanced skin treatment than Beverly Hills MD? Sounds like something women over 60, like me, could use to make sure that age doesn't matter ;) Thanks - Angie, www.yourtrueselfblog.com
ReplyDeleteHi Angie, It is definitely an effective retinol that isn't tough on the skin! I highly recommend it, and these doctors definitely know what they are doing!
DeleteI believe in the power of retinol. And thank you for the reminder about the moles. I do use sunscreen daily because I use retinoids, but never really thought much about it going over moles!
ReplyDeleteI believe in it too! Well, it's those pesky moles that may look okay to an untrained eye, but that a doctor or dermatologist might find problematic (cancerous, pre-cancerous etc.). I have my doctor look at my skin closely whenever I add products like retinol, heavy exfoliants etc. I us sunscreen daily too, but sometimes I don't reapply often enough. Plus, since I live in Los Angeles I get a lot of sun exposure just doing normal activities out in the world, and our family dermatologist has always been adamant about high SPF sunscreens and watching moles and sunspots to make sure that they do not become suspicious and potentially malignant!
DeleteSounds like a great retinol product with high quality ingredients!
ReplyDeleteIt really is, Courtney!
DeleteMy skin isn't used to retinol but I can tell I'm missing out by avoiding it. I'd like this to help with hyperpigmentation on my cheeks.
ReplyDeleteIt might be worth trying a retinol based product at some point! I am a big fan of retinol-based products because good ones are quite effective!
