Erno Laszlo Active Phelityl Intensive Cream is in incredible face cream, especially for dry skin, and while I do not have dry skin I find that it works exceptionally well on my normal/combination skin. My mom, who has dry skin, used it for many, many years, and absolutely love it. My sister and I were recently obsessing about how amazing this cream was, and I told her and my mom that I had purchased a few items, and was currently rather obsessed with Erno Laszlo all over again. This is a very rich cream that locks in moisture and leaves skin unbelievably smooth, supple and luminous. It contains petrolatum, which makes it a bit rich for daytime use for my normal/combination skin, but perfect for my nighttime routine. It is very concentrated, and therefore only a tiny amount is needed. I warm it up in my hands first and then massage it into my freshly cleansed skin, and it sinks right in. It has a wonderful smell that is light and a bit beyond description, but it is very warm and comforting. Laszlo claims that this is a 24 hour cream, and that really is no exaggeration. This also can be used as a spot treatment for dry patches on the face and body, and it does a remarkable job healing and moisturizing. I knew someone who used this religiously, and it was her go-to product after a peel. I haven't tried it in that capacity, but she claimed that it was the only product that worked for her post-peel.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Marcia! Frankly, it had been quite a few years since I had used their products, and I am just so happy that I am using a few of their products again! There definitely is a good reason why they are still around. They have done a lot of rebranding over the years, and sadly they have discontinued a lot of really amazing products.
