You might remember, a while ago, that I extolled the many virtues of Potager Soap Co. (HERE), and I must do so once again. I am quite enchanted by their utterly gorgeous handcrafted soaps, and think that they are perfect for gift-giving this season. They are made in small batches in Concord, Massachusetts, and they are cruelty-free, vegan and certified organic. Furthermore, this is a woman-owned company that is invested in sustainable practices.

Potager Soap debuted in 1999 with our Potager Pure line of vegetable oil bar soaps. After nearly 20 years and following the birth of Eloise, suddenly pure was not good enough.  As my daughter diligently sourced out ingredient lists to make sure that the products she used on her baby were safe, at Potager we began reexamining our ingredient list. Potager soap was always crafted with natural ingredients, but we decided we could do better. Out of her search The Potager Promise was born…CLEAN SOAP…NATURALLY! 

Potager Soap Co. Sugared Balsam Soap ($9.98 for 4.5 oz. from Potager Soap Co.): This luscious richly moisturizing soap, with a satisfying lather, has a warm and creamy aroma that is underscored by the Balsam and peppermint, and it is at once soothing and uplifting.

Comforting Organic Balsam with a hint of playful organic peppermint combine for a sensory treat. Organic sugar tops this year-round favorite. Organic shea butter makes this bar super moisturizing. Warm memories sparked by the scent of freshly cut balsam fir waft in the mist when you shower with Potager’s sugared balsam. This soap is handmade in Massachusetts.

Potager Soap Co. Rosemary Lemongrass Soap ($9.98 for 4.5 oz. from Potager Soap Co.): This soap strikes the perfect balance between the aroma of the Rosemary and the Lemongrass. Each scent tempers the other in the most delectable way. It is a very moisturizing bar with a very satisfying creamy lather, and it is an absolute delight to use.

Rosemary Lemongrass bar soap is made with Certified Organic Plant oil, Essential Oil, and Shea Butter. Each bar is wrapped in Eco-friendly letter-pressed paper and sealed with twine and wax.

Potager Soap Co. Minted Lemon Tea ($9.98 for 4.5 oz. from Potager Soap Co.): When Potager states that the scent of spearmint is mood elevating, they are not exaggerating. The smell of this bar puts me in a very good mood. The spearmint is tempered by a hint of lemon, and the way in which the aroma bursts forth is enough to put a smile on your face. The rich and creamy lather is very satisfying, and the moisturizing formula leaves the skin soft and supple.
