A Bit of Natural Beauty for You
I hope that this finds you safe, healthy and doing well. I wanted to check in to see how all of you are doing as we continue to live in this surreal time of the pandemic. What are you doing to cope with what is happening? Are you experiencing quarantine fatigue? I am thinking about you and sending you well-wishes.
I have been taking work breaks in my garden, and pulling weeds has been cathartic and incredibly satisfying. Here are some pictures that I took of my blooming Yesterday Today Tomorrow Shrub (Brunfelsia pauciflora 'Floribunda') that I thought that you might enjoy. Wishing you safety and good health. xoxo

I hate saying it because it seems bad when so many others are going through so much. I actually haven't minded being quarantined that much. I've been blessed to be able to telecommute and have used the no commute time to sleep in in the mornings, stay up later in the evenings, spend time with my hubby while I work, and work on blog posts on the weekends.
ReplyDeleteI totally know what you mean. I am lucky enough to be able to work from home as well, and while it isn't ideal in many ways, there are nice aspects to it. It is still stressful because the world is so crazy these days, and the news cycle can put oen into an existential crisis at record speed!
DeleteOur Michigan weather isn't inducive to flowers yet. We had a frost warning again last night. I don't have a yard but I'd love to have flowers on my porch. The color of these flowers is perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour blooming season will be here before you know it! This is the perfect time to put some potted plants on your porch!
DeleteWhat a beautiful plant, so full of blooms! In Cali, you have so many plants that we don’t get here, or plants that are annuals for us. I have never seen this one before
ReplyDeleteIt really is a gorgeous plant! We definitely have a great variety of plants that thrive in our area.
