I haven't used my discount yet but hope to before it's over. It's a great time to stock up.
ReplyDeleteNeither have I, but I am pouring over their website seeing if there is anything that I want to buy! It really is a great time to stock up. What are you thinking about buying, Marcia?
DeleteOh man. This sale is making me tear my hair out. I hate having to wait and risk the things I want selling out but I'm thisclose to Rouge. I didn't get there in time for the sale, so have to wait a few more days. Meanwhile, I am adding, removing, shuffling around products in my cart, trying to curate the perfect, as satisfying as possible order that fits my budget parameters and if I keep it up, Sephora is going to kick my crazy ass off their site. For good. lol
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean. I didn't spend enough last year to retain my Rouge status, and now need to consider whether I need anything enough to retain my VIB status. I am swimming in so many products, but I also don't want to lose my discount! What are you thinking about getting?
DeleteI am VIB & only get 15% off. I need to spend $8 to keep my status for next year. So I will buy only enough to make the $8. Instead, I did a nice haul at Ulta where I got 20% off and paid for most of it with my Ulta points/cash. As much as i love Sephora, they need to catch up since i can get 90% of the products & brands i want at Ulta
ReplyDeleteI am too, I didn't spend enough last year to retain my Rouge status. You are lucky that you only need to spend $8.00 to retain your VIB status for next year. Mine is a bit more. I need to double check the exact amount, and then determine whether it will be worth it, given that I don't really need anything right now. You're definitely doing better with Ulta, that's for sure.
DeleteOh yes, I bought online and in-store. Beauty junkie has to use her code lol
ReplyDeleteI totally understand that! I can't wait to see all of your purchases!
DeleteMy list is made!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you considering, Cindy?
DeleteGood reminder! Going to get some hair stuff :)
ReplyDeleteI love haircare products, what are you thinking about getting, Norah?
DeleteCompletely turned off by the reduction from 20% to 15% for VIB. Sephora is not hurting financially and they offer the WORST rewards system. Why should I spend my money at their store when I can get 20%-25% elsewhere on the same items? If they really want to stand out, increase VIB ROUGE to 25%, have VIB at 20% and everyone else at 15%. As it is, they've lost me as a customer; too many other places to spend my money with better perks.
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about their rewards system. I think lots of people are feeling this same frustration– especially since Ulta has such a great rewards system comparatively. I am frustrated that VIB is now 15% off– particularly since I didn't spend enough last year to retain my Rouge status, and now am on the verge of losing my VIB status, if I don't shop this event. I only have a few things that I really want, and I am trying to determine if the discount will be enough to justify the purchase.
DeleteI have the Sephora CC and the "Sephora Cash" rewards on that are FAR BETTER than the discount they now offer if you are anything other than ROUGE. That said, unlike Ulta, they will NOT allow you to use a coupon code WITH your "Sephora Cash"; it's one OR the other. Tell me again Sephora, WHY should I shop with you? If it wasn't for La Mer and Kerastase, I would write them off. The Sephora Cash, however, adds up fast and for $$$$ items, is worth it.
DeleteI was wondering about the Sephora CC, and it certainly sounds like there are worthwhile benefits, but it's ridiculous that they don't allow you to use the coupon with it! You are right, if one isn't ROUGE, then the the discounts really aren't noteworthy! That said, if one is buying expensive luxury brands like La Me– it definitely makes sense to get the discount!
DeleteI was all set to skip this event and then my husband is all “I thought you wanted this and this”. Looks like he’s forcing me to buy stuff...
ReplyDeleteI was too, and now I am filling up my cart trying to decide what I "need." What are you thinking of getting, Cassie?
