Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Liv It Up Lipstick | Review and Swatches

Purchased (Affiliate Links)

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Liv It Up Lipstick has been on my list of Charlotte Tilbury must-haves for a while, and I finally purchased it. Named after Liv Tyler, Charlotte Tilbury describes it as a, "pretty ballet pink lipstick." I find that it is leans toward a mid-tone pink, and completely agree that the formula is moisturizing. It has a very creamy consistency, beautiful rich pigmentation and enviable opacity in a single pass. This lipstick glides across the lips effortlessly, deposits color evenly and has the perfect amount of cushion for comfortable wear.  It offers buildable coverage, but can also be sheered out– which is perfect for people who prefer a light wash of color. It also boasts a beautiful sheen that captures the light perfectly. I find that I get about 3-4 hours of wear per application, but it does require reapplication if I eat salads with oil-based dressings.
According to Charlotte Tilbury,

Darlings, get spellbinding beauty! My Hot Lips Lipstick in Liv It Up is inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll ethereal beauty of Liv Tyler. This pretty ballet pink lipstick pairs perfectly with a sexy smokey eye!

Directions:  To use, start by applying the matching LIP CHEAT Lip Liner in PILLOWTALK. Apply the Hot Lips lipstick straight from the bullet for a quick lipstick slick, or apply using the LIP BRUSH for extra precision.
Features:

  2. I love that pink, Live It Up, Helen! So pretty. My kind of shade too. I got a CT lipstick mini at Sephora in December in a neutral shade. Now, where did I put it?

  3. When I went to an event at the Charlotte Tilbury counter this was the lipstick that we based the look on. It's darker than the description but one of my very favorite lip colors.
