From the first moment that I saw Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color I fell madly in love with it, it is the most sublime hue between cyan and blue that I have ever seen, and I couldn't wait to try it. Below you will find a step-by-step tutorial to fashion the look created by Osmosis Global Corporate Educator, Ami Mallon, whose magical "Midnight Glitz" is a dramatic glimmering smoky eye for New Year's Eve.
If you love the color, but find the look too bold for your liking, then simply line your upper and lower lids with the black eye pencil and then apply Azure Water Color over the liner. It is a high-impact color that can be used more sparingly, if you prefer a more subtle approach. If, however, you are willing to take a bold approach for the festivities, then you will find this tutorial easy to follow and recreate.
Products used:

Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil ($25.00  for 0.04 oz. from Osmosis, Dermstore and Skin Care RX): Water-resistant and long lasting wearability, the Osmosis Eye Pencil collection features a creamy, quick drying formula.

Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color ($20.00  for 0.07 oz. from Osmosis and Dermstore): This hydrating formula offers a radiant glimmer of color to the eyelids that won't crease.

Osmosis Colour Opal Water Color ($20.00 from Osmosis): This hydrating formula offers a radiant glimmer of color to the eyelids that won't crease.

Osmosis Colour Volumizing Mascara ($25.00 from Osmosis and Skin Care RX): This full head brush will enhance the lashes making them appear longer and fuller.
Midnight Glitz Tutorial:
Step 1: Prep the eyes by blending a small amount of the Age Defying Treatment Concealer with the Concealer Brush. Using the Blender Brush, sweep the darker shade from the Lustrous Contour Duo into your crease to create definition.
Step 2: Apply the Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil on your lid from lash line to crease. Don't worry about precision in this step, we'll be blending it in the next!
Step 3: Blend the Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil using the Contour Shadow Brush. TIP: Our Eye Pencils are long-wear and will set quickly, so get to blending as soon as you can!
Step 4: Then, apply Osmosis Colour Black Eye Pencil to your lower lash line and blend under your eye using the smudge brush at the end of the Eye Pencil for a natural smokey look.
Step 5: Using your finger or our Smudge Brush, dab Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color onto the center of your lid and blend into your crease and outwards.
Step 6: Take the same Smudge Brush and apply a small amount of Osmosis Colour Azure Water Color to the center of the lower lash line to make the eye look larger.
Step 7: With your finger or a clean Smudge Brush, dab a small amount of Osmosis Colour Opal Water Color in your tear duct area as well as under your brow to brighten and highlight! Then, apply several coats of the Osmosis Colour Volumizing Mascara to complete the eye look.
Left to Right: Black Eye Pencil, Azure Water Color, Opal Water Color and the shadows layered over the Black Eye Pencil.
Overall Assessment: This dramatic smoky eye would be perfect paired with a nude pink lip and a light flush of color on the cheeks. Have a safe and Happy New Year!

  3. Such a pretty color. I had two other shades but they dried out because the top has to be closed tightly and mine was askew. Everyone needs at least one of these water colors.
