If you are seeking a skincare brand about which to wax poetic, then Derma E unquestionably worthy of an effusive mention. This brand fills their products with clean ingredients, creates formulas that are incredibly effective, and they are a pleasure to use. The only thing that might strike you as out-of-sync with the high quality of their products is their inherent affordability.

Given that the winter is upon us, I thought that I would select a few Derma E cold weather heroes to share with you, and each one is absolutely worthy of your attention.

Derma E Hydrating Cleanser ($15.50 for 8 oz. from Derma E): This lathering gel cleanser, which is sulfate-free and non-stripping, thoroughly and gently cleans the skin and effectively removes dirt, makeup and pollutants without drying or dehydrating the skin. In fact, this formula, which contains Hyaluronic Acid, leaves skin soft, supple and unmistakably hydrated. There is no real detectable scent, in case you have sensitivities to aromatic skincare products.

According to Derma E,

Deeply moisturize skin while washing away dirt, oil and impurities. Derma E Hydrating Night Cream ($29.50 for 2 oz. from Derma E): This is a very rich, and yet remarkably fast absorbing, antioxidant-rich nighttime face cream that deeply hydrates skin, plumps fine lines and leaves skin soft, smooth and supple. I thought that it might be too rich for my normal to combination skin, but it is utter perfection even on the oilier parts of my face. Their is a very faint herbal aroma in the jar, but I found that there really wasn't a scent on the skin.

Derma E Psorzema Cream ($19.95 for 4 oz. from Derma E): While I neither have Psoriasis, nor Eczema– I have really been noticing that my skin has been quite dry this season. The weather has become quite crisp at night, in particular, and my skin is definitely reacting to it. This rich cream offers serious relief to dry skin, and it heals scaly, flaky skin. It is thick and rich, and yet it sinks into the skin quickly and leaves behind no greasy residue. My husband's hands have become unusually dry and rough this season, and this wonderful cream miraculously leaves them soft, smooth and hydrated. This product has no detectable scent.

Derma E Scar Gel ($19.95 for 2 oz. from Derma E): I am currently testing this on an old scar and it's too soon to see long term results, but I will say that it leaves my skin very soft, smooth and hydrated. It is a thick, non-oily, gel that feels great on the skin. It has a light pleasant scent, but it fades very quickly.

This unique blend of botanical extracts helps soften, smooth, and diminish the appearance of scars, especially those that are lumpy, bumpy or discolored. Enriched with Allicin (from onion bulb), Allantoin and Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), this formula helps visibly break down scars and encourage healthy skin. It is equally effective in resolving other skin hardening. Overall Assessment: Worth their weight in gold. I continue to be thoroughly impressed by Derma E. A+
