The first KissMe Lipstick Beauty Subscription features three beautiful lippies. It features two matte lipsticks and a lip gloss, and all three are quite beautiful. The matte shades, Promiscuous and Happily Ever After, are true mattes, and while I do not find them drying, and they are very long-lasting. They offer full opaque coverage, serious pigmentation, and they neither bleed into lip lines, nor migrate. They are comfortable on the lips, but they lack the emollience of non-matte formulas, and once they dry down they don't budge. If you have particularly dry lips, you might want to wear a light layer of lip balm.
The gloss, Single A.F., has an emollient formula that I find lightly moisturizing and very comfortable on the lips. The finish has a lovely sheen coupled with opaque coverage, and the formula glides across the lips effortlessly and deposits color evenly. While it lacks the longevity of the mattes, I do get several hours of wear per application.
Single A.F. is a nude lip gloss
Promiscuous is a peach-toned nude matte liquid lipstick
Happily Ever After is a pretty pink off-nude matte liquid lipstick
The second KissMe Lipstick Beauty Subscription, for October, features three beautiful lippies. It includes two matte lipsticks and a gloss, and all three are quite beautiful.Magic is a beautiful metallic lip gloss that is comfortable on the lips, emollient and lightly moisturizing with a gorgeous luminous, semi-opaque finish.
Poison Apple and Vixen are true, fully opaque and highly saturated matte liquid lipsticks. They are true mattes, and while I do not find them drying, and they are very long-lasting. Like Promiscuous and Happily Ever After, they offer full opaque coverage, serious pigmentation, and they neither bleed into lip lines, nor migrate. They are comfortable on the lips, but they lack the emollience of non-matte formulas, and once they dry down they don't budge. If you have particularly dry lips, you might want to wear a light layer of lip balm.
Magic is a metallic copper lip gloss
Poison Apple is a deep candy-apple red matte liquid lipstick
Vixen is a blackened-red matte liquid lipstick

Those liquid lipsticks look so pretty! I'm a huge fan of Morphe brushes - and now, their lipsticks as well.
ReplyDeleteThey really have great brushes and liquid lipsticks!
DeleteOh that looks like a terrific subscription! I didn't know Morphe was doing boxes.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, and such a good deal at that! Yes, they are!
DeleteThis sounds like a great box to try! Those lippies are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good box to try! Aren't they stunning lippies?!
DeleteThe lipstick sub box is great for lipstick junkies! I still have so much more to de-stash tho so I am not the right target for now :-)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a great subscription box to try, but not when you are de-stashing!
DeleteI'd like a nail polish monthly but the lip one doesn't work for me. I'm much too set in my ways with lip products plus I don't go through lips as quickly. I've considered the brush one though and I love that they have the pink for October.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried their nail polish monthly boxes, but they look good. The October brush set is definitely worth getting because of the cause, IMHO.
DeleteI had never heard of this subscription, but it's a great way to build your lipstick & brush collections quickly and affordably!
