HOURGLASS Confession Refillable Lipstick Set Holiday 2017 is a wonderful new Limited Edition launch just in time for the holidays! As a huge fan of HOURGLASS Cosmetics, I was eagerly awaiting this release.

According to HOURGLASS,

A limited edition lipstick set featuring one Confession Ultra Slim Lipstick and two Confession Ultra Slim Lipstick Refills in new exclusive shades. Available exclusively this holiday season.

I have to say that HOURGLASS Confession Refillable Lipsticks boast the most elegant bullet, and they are such a treat to use. Each of the three lipsticks in this set are emollient and ultra creamy, and they glide across the lips effortlessly and deposit full opaque coverage and pigmentation. They have a beautiful satin finish, are long-wearing, non-drying and they neither smudge, nor feather. The size of the lipstick is slim and compact, and it perfectly fits the contours of the lips for precise application.

All three shades are exclusive to this set, and they are perfection for anyone with a penchant for nude and pinky nude lipsticks. Each lipstick contains 03 oz. / .9g (x3) of product, and therefore these are small enough that you are likely to actually finish them up.

My One Desire is described as a dusty mauve.
True Love Means is described as a pink nude.
You Are My is described as a medium rose brown.

Directions: Turn the mechanism to dispense the product. Twist the product down before recapping and click the lid tightly to ensure closure. It does not require sharpening. To refill, remove the gold applicator cap and pull the existing lipstick barrel out from the pointed end of the gold applicator. If the lipstick is still usable, the lipstick barrel can be set aside for future use. Take your new shade and remove the black cap, then firmly pull the lipstick barrel out from the black base. Store the cap and base for future use, or attach them to the lipstick you just removed if it's still usable. Holding the pointed end of the sleek gold applicator, insert your new shade of lipstick into the opening until it clicks into place. Secure the gold applicator cap after each use.

Pro tips: The refills are meant to be collected and used interchangeably with the gold applicator.

Overall Assessment: This set is a great gift idea for anyone who loves luxury nude lipsticks! As one with a serious penchant for nude lipsticks, I am so happy wearing all three of these lovely shades.
