Overall Assessment: Love, love, love! I am a huge fan of sheer tinted lip balms, and this one is gorgeous, and it boasts a fantastic formula. That said, if you are seeking more intense pigmentation in a tinted lip balm, then you should be aware that these are quite sheer.

From the pot I assumed they'd be so pigmented so I really love that they are sheer like this. Do they have a fragrance?
ReplyDeleteThey have no detectable scent or flavor, Marcia. Yes, the color in the pot would seem to indicate rich pigmentation, but in reality they really are quite sheer. I really love the formula!
DeleteI think I would have liked a little more pigment, but these still sound pretty great.
ReplyDeleteThey are really great, but if you are seeking richer pigmentation these will not do the trick. You can, however, use them to top pigmented lipsticks!
DeleteI believe I got one of these in either the Barneys event bag or the SpaceNK event bag recently but I haven't tried as yet. I should locate them and use this summer. Are they super-hydrating (for winter)?
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely worth finding yours! I find them quite hydrating, but I didn't use them on super chapped lips during the winter– so I don't know how they would stand up against lip balms that I have used during the cold months.
DeleteThese look like such good lip balms and I love the outer packaging, too. I like lip balms that give a hint of colour, they make me feel a little more pulled together, even when I'm slopping it in pj's and no makeup. lol
