That I am utterly impressed by the VISEART Theory III Chroma & Theory I Cashmere Palettes would rank among the greatest understatements. I bought them both sight unseen online, though I had seen some online swatches, but I knew that these two particular neutral palettes were a perfect fit for me. What I was left to wonder was whether I thought that the textures of these shadows lived up to all of the hype, and I am pleased to say that I definitely think that they do, indeed.
About VISEART,
Well-known by professional makeup artists from French television and film, Viseart fuses quality with integrity and innovation. The brand’s founders launched their high-performance line in order to create makeup formulas that harness the best of natural and organic resources with modern technology. This artisan heritage makeup brand was conceived out of a shared passion for healthy products that go back to the roots of beauty, to naturally enhance the skin rather than aging the skin with harmful chemicals.
The Viseart Theory Palette is described as, "a six-piece, unique compact palette with matte and shimmer eyeshadows and removable pans that also fold into a working easel."According to VISEART,
Perfect for the makeup artist, these colors are a new addition to Viseart's range of mattes and shimmers, providing unparalleled coverage, pigment, and all-day, long-lasting color. Create a neutral eye look for day and evening looks with three mattes that range from light-to-medium tones, including one basic brow and crease shade. Use the shades for a subtle shimmery eye or for a sophisticated, satin-glow finish. Use the matte shades to fill in and shape eyebrows.
VISEART Theory I Cashmere Palette is a warm-leaning neutral palette that combines matte and shimmer shades that are ultra-finely milled and beautifully pigmented. With the exception of the dark brown shadow (lower left), which has a slightly stiff texture compared to the other 5 shades, all of these powder shadows glide across the skin effortlessly, deposit color evenly and boast enviable longevity. Despite the fact that the dark brown shadow is a bit more stiff, I found it to be a very solid performer. I primarily use it as an eyeliner, and in this capacity I find it quite impressive. From the moment that I opened this palette it seemed familiar, and I wondered if my beloved TOM FORD Color Quad in Nude Dip might be a close match, and while there are some similarities, you will see from my swatches below that they are different enough to justify having both.

Overall Assessment: I am so thrilled with my purchases, and would happily make them again. If you already have TOM FORD Nude Dip, VISEART Theory I Cashmere is sufficiently different that it is worth having if you are seeking another warm-leaning neutral palette. If you are seeking a cool-toned neutral palette, then VISEART Theory III Chroma is an absolute must-have in my opinion. I have a cool-toned complexion, and it is precisely the palette that my collection lacked, and therefore this was one of the best makeup purchases that I have made in a very long time. If you have yet to experience VISEART, then I definitely recommend giving the brand a try.

You read my mind. I was just looking at the little one I own, maybe it's Cashmere, yesterday, and wondering why I don't use it more often. I'm going to take it out of the palette storage box and leave it on my vanity. I adore Viseart and need to use the mini and my full size palettes more often
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is worth putting on your vanity since these are such wonderful palettes!
DeleteThese Viseart palettes are GORGEOUS!! I think I need to buy one even though I don't really need one!!
ReplyDeleteThey really are, Stacie! You might actually need one! LOL!
DeleteOh! These palettes look great. I adore my Viseart Neutral Matte palette. Best mattes I have ever met. I need to pick up one of these little palettes and give their shimmers a go.
ReplyDeleteViseart is so amazing! Their mattes are quite lovey, indeed! I think that you will really love their shimmers! I think that you would really love either of these palettes!
DeleteI bought these two the minute they came out but I just don't use them enough. I'll pull them out to get them back in action. Tom Ford Nude Dip is my favorite palette in my collection and I recommend that too.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you bought these! You might as well pull them out and enjoy them! Nude Dip remains my all-time favorite palettes as well!
DeleteThese are so gorgeous looking! I really don't need any more shadow, but I do have my eye on a couple of these...
ReplyDeleteAren't they gorgeous?!! You need at least one of their palettes!
DeleteBoth are quite gorgeous, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Viseart!
ReplyDeleteAren't they spectacular?! I agree, I would expect nothing less from them as well!
