Earth Therapeutics Purifying Body Exfoliator and Triple Butter Body Butter for Soft, Lusciously Smooth Skin

I have been using several products from Earth Therapeutics over the last year, and their Triple Butter Organic Foot Balm ranks among my very favorite foot creams– therefore I was very happy to try their Purifying Body Exfoliator and their Organic Triple Butter Body Butter, and as I suspected, they do not disappoint. I am a huge proponent of exfoliation followed by rich creams, body butters and oils, and I find this practice particularly effective during the colder months of the year when I need added hydration. Thus, I am really enjoying these new additions to my body care routine this season.

Earth Therapeutics Purifying Body Exfoliator ($9.99 from Earth Therapeutics): This body exfoliator has a textured surface, that is infused with medicinal charcoal, to gently exfoliate dead skin cells, stimulate circulation and draw out impurities. I simply place a small amount of liquid body cleanser on the sponge, add water to create a lather, and then gently massage it into my skin. It leaves skin very soft and silky smooth– without feeling stripped or irritated.

According to Earth Therapeutics,

This purifying body exfoliator is textured to gently scrub away the outer layers of dead skin to unclog pores-while an embedded infusion of medicinal charcoal enhances the cleansing process by drawing out impurities. Specially designed to massage the skin, this body exfoliator also stimulates circulation, so skin can breathe freely. After regular periodic use, skin will benefit from the deep clean-feeling soft, smooth, and healthy.

Directions: Wet in warm water, apply your favorite cleanser, and gently massage the skin. The frequency of use really depends on the sensitivity of your skin, but we recommend exfoliating at least once a week. After using sponge, hang to dry. Keep in a dry area. Replace the sponge every 3 months or so, depending on frequency and intensity of use.

Earth Therapeutics Organic Triple Butter Body Butter Orange & Earth Therapeutics Organic Triple Butter Body Butter Mango ($9.99 for 6.7 oz. from Earth Therapeutics): Earth Therapeutics Body Butters boast a non-greasy formula that are mid-weight, fast absorbing and intensely hydrating. There is no greasy residue left behind, and skin is left soft, silky smooth and very moisturized.

Earth Therapeutics Organic Triple Butter Body Butter Orange has a refreshing, light aroma that is very pleasant, but it does fade soon upon application. Their Mango Body Butter has a light, and uplifting, aroma that lingers for a few minute after it is absorbed before fading away. Therefore, neither the orange, nor the mango will interfere with other fragrances that you may want to wear.

According to Earth Therapeutics,

This triple body butter features three natural plant butters: Cocoa butter, often used to soothe sunburns, rashes and insect bites; Mango butter, a natural source of vitamin A; and Shea butter, known to reduce skin inflammation and intense moisturizer. 

Directions: Massage liberally all over the body for smooth, supple and super soft skin.

Overall Assessment: I really like the Purifying Body Exfoliator and the Body Butters, and while they work beautifully individually, they are even more effective when paired together.
