If you are seeking a haircare line that is 100% vegan, uses plant derived botanicals and is always cruelty free, then ABBA needs to be on your radar. Furthermore, their products are free of parabens, sulfates, gluten, sodium chloride, DEA, phthalates and synthetic color additives. I have used a lot of their products, but two of my favorite ranges are their Color Protection and Moisture lines. The shampoos and conditioners from both of these lines can also be used on color treated hair.
ABBA Color Protection Shampoo ($17.00 for 8 oz. from ABBA and Ulta & $34.00 for 33.8 oz from Ulta): This sulfate-free, ultra-gentle shampoo thoroughly cleanses hair without ever stripping it. It extends and protects the longevity of color treatments, and leaves hair soft and silky smooth. It also has a light coconut scent that is very pleasant, but not in the least bit overpowering.

ABBA Color Protection Conditioner ($18.00 for 8 oz. and $36.00 for 33.8 oz. from ABBA and Ulta): This is a very hydrating and nourishing conditioner that leaves hair incredibly soft and smooth. It protects and extends the life of color treatments. Furthermore, it reduces frizz and detangles unruly tresses. Like its companion shampoo, it has a light and pleasant coconut aroma, but it isn't overpowering, and it does not linger.

ABBA Moisture Shampoo ($17.00 for 8 oz. and $34.00 for 33.8 oz. from ABBA and Ulta): The key moisturizing botanical ingredients in this shampoo and its conditioner are Olive Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Abba's special ProQuinoa complex, and even when my hair is extremely dry it looks and feels better after I use this shampoo and conditioner. It is non-stripping, ultra-hydrating and the minty aroma smells delectable, and is very refreshing.

ABBA Curl Prep Spray ($20.00 for 8 oz. from ABBA): Whether you have naturally curly, or permed hair, and you are looking to maintain the shape and curl of your locks, this delectable, lightly citrus scented spray enhances curls while adding moisture to dehydrated hair.

Create shape and add life to dehydrated naturally curly or permed hair.
Key Botanicals: Lemongrass, Orange Peel Oil, ProQuinoa Complex™
Directions: Mist evenly on damp hair. Scrunch or diffuse with hair dryer to create extreme curls. TIP: Use on all hair types for texture.
ABBA Smoothing Blow Dry Lotion ($18.00 for 5.1 oz. from ABBA and Ulta): This smoothing lotion is lightweight, it adds shine to hair and makes it more manageable. It is a perfect choice if you blow dry your hair. I often use it when I air dry my hair because I love the added shine and manageability that it offers.

Directions: Work a small amount into palms and smooth over surface of damp hair concentrating on areas where increased control is desired. Blow dry.

Overall Assessment: I am very impressed with ABBA, and these products are definitely highly effective for color treated hair, dry hair and curly hair.
