DeleteRose gold? I must have it. The blush palette is beautiful, but I wish I had seen this wonderful post while I was at Ulta on Saturday. I'm very interested in the lipsticks. You listed 4 shades but there are 3 photos of swatches. Which is which? I'm going to go to Ulta to pick up one or two but in case there are no testers, which are the deeper or more pigmented shades?
ReplyDeleteI actually thought of you when I opened the palette, Allison! I think that you would really love it, and the colors would definitely appeal to you! I wish that I had posted this review a few days sooner so that you could have had it in mind when you headed to Ulta!! I should have been more precise in my labeling- all three sets of swatches are the same lipstick, Chauffeur, that I wanted to show with varied degrees of lighting. In each, the top swatch is a light-handed single pass, while the bottom swatch was achieved after a few passes. I will go back into the post and make that point more clear.

You know, I was going to write about using some of these shades as eyeshadows, which I plan to try, but I was concerned that people with sensitive eyes might have an adverse reaction since the company doesn't seem to suggest that it can be used on the eyes as well. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about this beauty! I'm so happy that you liked my swatches!

DeleteThese are beautiful! I'm dying to try the MUR palettes, but they have mineral oil in them. It's a big no no for my skin. I definitely plan on picking up some of those gorgeous lipsticks though!
ReplyDeleteHi Amber, Crazy how pretty they are, right?! Well, since Mineral Oil is an issue that makes half of that palette unusable, and not worth getting– unless you depot and give the mineral oil-laden ones away. The lipsticks are definitely worth checking out, though!
