If you love the aroma of lavender in your body products, as do I, then you really must try L'Occitane's lavender soaps, creams and lotions. I realize that lavender seldom elicits a neutral response– people either tend to love it or dislike it. For me, high quality scented body care products  tend to transport me to Provence upon first inhale, and make me supremely happy. I have used many L'Occitane body products over the years, and their lavender gems rank among my very favorite on the market. They are high quality, a pleasure to use, and they are affordable and infinitely accessible!

L'Occitane Shea Butter Extra-Gentle Lavender Soap ($12.00 for 8.8 oz. from L'Occitane, Nordstrom, Sephora and QVC): This delectably scented lavender soap has a creamy, non-drying lather that is gentle, non-stripping and nourishing. Furthermore, it thoroughly cleanses without leaving a greasy film, and one bar lasts a very long time. I love using it in the shower, and have even used it in lieu of a shave cream to save my legs and underarms, and it does an fantastic job in this capacity. If you love lavender, then this is a soap that you will likely covet.

Rich in softening and protective shea butter, this soap's foamy lather gently cleanses the skin, while preserving its natural moisture balance. The 100 percent vegetable base is ultra-gentle and suitable for everyday use.

L'Occitane Lavender Hand Cream ($12.00 for 1 oz. $ $22.00 for 2.6 oz. from L'Occitane, Sephora, Nordstrom, QVC and Essential): This light-medium weight hand cream is utterly luxurious in its smooth and creamy texture, and its delightful lavender scent. The formula is fast absorbing and fast-acting– it immediately renders hands soft, supple and ultra-hydrated. The lavender aroma is neither cloying, nor in the least bit pungent. Instead, it leaves a thin veil of scent close to the skin, and it fades away altogether after a couple of hours. I have a tube this in my work bag, and in my purse, and I delight in using it every single day!
