I have a real soft-spot for facial masks, and always have. In part, my love of masking has to do with the pampering ritual, and slowing down indulging in home-spa activities is always a great antidote to a very busy life. However, the ritual is far less fulfilling if there are no tangible results from the treatments themselves. Therefore, finding effective masks that are worthy of indulging is of paramount importance for me. Dr. Brandt Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask and Needles No More 3-D Filler Mask are among the masks that I have been using lately, and I definitely enjoy using them and see tangible results.
Dr. Brandt Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask ($70.00 for 1.4 z. from Dr. Brandt Skincare, Sephora, Ulta, Macy's and Birchbox): This effervescent mask rejuvenates, nourishes and refreshes the skin in just 3-5 minutes. You simply apply a thin layer to the skin, and it begins to bubble on the skin. Once you rinse it off, hydrated, luminous skin is revealed. It's a perfect mask to reach for when your skin needs a little pick-me-up.

Dr. Brandt Needles No More 3-D Filler Mask ($95.00 for 1.7 oz. from Dr. Brandt Skincare, Sephora, Ulta and Birchbox): This leave-on mask is designed to volumize, reshape and fill lines and facial contours. You simply brush a small amount on the areas that you seek to fill or plump, and the Hyaluronic Acid Peptides and proprietary Adipofill'in plump up that area, and the effects last on me for about 3-4 days before I need to repeat the process. I don't have deep lines or wrinkles, but I do have fine expression lines that definitely appear smaller and smoother. There is a slight tingle when you first apply it, but it is neither unpleasant, nor is it long-lasting.
