The other day, a long-time reader asked me for a recommendation for a leave in hair conditioner that doubles as a lightweight styling aid, and the first thing that popped in my head was the Jose Iber The Conditioner Hydrating Foam that I have reached for a lot this season.
The Conditioner dispenses the way that a typical hair mousse does, but the texture has a soft and creamy consistency that feels wonderful. It is quite concentrated– therefore I would recommend starting out with a little bit and adding more, as needed. It leaves my hair soft, hydrated, manageable and frizz-free. Furthermore, it adds shine and body– not to mention a light hold. It neither weighs hair down, nor does it create an unpleasant product build-up, and it never flakes.
It has a light and fresh scent, but it does fade very quickly, and therefore will not interfere with any fragrances that you may wear.
I like to work it through damp hair and then comb or brush it through, and the results are consistently excellent.
According to Jose Iber,
Ready for a new look for your lovely locks? Take a tip from celebrity hair stylist Jose Eber, and indulge your hair in this luxurious hydrating foam. You'll flaunt your “crowning glory” that is moisturized, quenched, shiny and voluminous!
Features:
- Contains a proprietary mineral complex made up of water, hydrolyzed algin, manganese sulfate and magnesium sulfate
- Extraordinary texture like French "creme fraiche"
- Scent combines fresh soft quince, soft citrus, green leaves and neroli de Provence - crisp, fresh, and unique
- Hair looks luxurious, sexy, silky and youthful
- Good for all hair types, including color treated

Overall Assessment: If you are seeking a leave-in conditioner that makes hair soft, hydrated, manageable, shiny and frizz-free then Jose Iber The Conditioner Hydrating Foam is worth your consideration.

I've never tried a conditioning foam, sounds good!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is, but the trick is not to use too much!
DeleteOoh! A foam! Must try for sure!
ReplyDeleteAnd a creamy foam, at that!
DeleteHmmm, I have a prestige brand of Conditioning Foam that looks similar to the Jose Iber, and i have found that it isn't moisturizing enough for my hair. I have always rinsed it out. Now I've gotta go back and read the directions. Maybe it's a leave-in?? Definitely worth a look since I was about to toss it. I know you have had great experiences with Jose Iber, so someday I will try the brand!
ReplyDeleteHi Allison, I would definitely give it another try. The trick is to avoid using too much. I start out with a small amount (FAR less than I showed in my hand above), and work it through the hair. Jose Iber definitely makes some nice products!
DeleteConditioning Foam? Hmmm... that sounds nice. I haven't tried anything like that before but the concept sounds really nice. I haven't heard of this brand before either... I'll check them out.
ReplyDeleteIt's a really interesting product, Honey! He's a Beverly Hills hairdresser with a big celebrity clientele. He makes really nice quality products as well.

ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome, Kristina! It's a really cool product, and unlike anything else that I have tried!
DeleteWell, how amazing does this sound?! I've never used anything like it, but that might need to change.
ReplyDeleteI know, I had the very same reaction! It;s pretty fun to use, but you really don't need to use much! I definitely recommend giving it a try!
DeleteAlways looking for great hair products. I'll need to check this one out
ReplyDeleteMe too, and this one was a really pleasant surprise! :-)
