Spring 2016 will be remembered in the beauty world for its celebration of individuality, with many designers opting to accentuate the individual characteristics of their runway models, rather than creating an army of beautiful clones to present their collections. This spring, we’ve collaborated with five women -- each with a personal relationship with beauty -- to showcase Space NK’s Spring/Summer ‘16 looks, tailored to suit each one of them.

The Art of Strobing

The new highlighting trend known as strobing, an ingenious technique that illuminates the areas of your face that naturally catch the light, was featured on runways including Balmain and Victoria Beckham.

We worked with Sophie Beresiner, Beauty Director of Elle UK magazine, to create a beautiful interpretation of this look which particularly suits her complexion.

The trend for bold vs bare lips, as seen on the DKNY runway, continues the theme of individuality. Color Play

Several runway shows, including Rodarte, featured eye, cheek and lip colors in pastel shades applied in soft washes of color. We designed our own take on this look for hair stylist from Windle and Moodie MJ Tollo.
