Dr. Brandt Skincare has so many innovative and cutting-edge formulas in their product arsenal that it is hard for me to select a favorite from my collection. That said, the new XYY Xtend Your Youth Dual Fusion Water and XYY Xtend Your Youth Face Cream have definitely captured my attention, and are both getting lots and lots of use lately. XYY Xtend Your Youth is an antioxidant-rich, anti-stress and anti-aging collection that features highly effective products that produce real results, and they are a pleasure to use.

Dr. Brandt XYY Xtend Your Youth Dual Fusion Water is described as a "two-in-one antioxidant micellar water" that effectively traps oil, dirt, makeup residue and impurities. I am a longtime proponent of micellar water, and this fragrance-free version effectively removes makeup, including waterproof eye makeup, and it does so without irritating my sensitive eyes. The formula is ultra gentle, non-drying and it leaves skin feeling soft and refreshed. If you are obsessed with micellar water, as I am, then you really need to try this one– I am utterly obsessed with it, and think that you will likely feel the same way!

According to Dr. Brandt:

Gently and effectively removes all impurities and makeup (even waterproof formulas), trapping oil and residue in micelles (tiny molecules). This cleanser is a must-have for all skin types. Ophthalmologist tested. Safe for sensitive eyes & contact lenses wearers.

Dr. Brandt XYY Xtend Your Youth Face Cream is a lightweight and fast-absorbing antioxidant rich anti-aging cream that offers skin long-lasting antioxidant protection and moisture. The proprietary formula utilizes a "new, innovative, and exclusive extraction process to create a blend of three potent antioxidants to shield the skin from free radicals and external aggressors all day long."

What is immediately evident is that my skin appears and feels ultra-hydrated, soft, smooth, supple and with an obvious luminosity when I use this cream. Furthermore, I note that my fine lines appear softened and lifted, and the overall texture of my skin appears enhanced.

The texture of the cream is luxurious and emollient, and feels utterly delightful against the skin, and it leaves behind no greasy residue.  It is free of synthetic fragrance, but it has a very faint scent from the Rosa Damascena Flower Oil and Rose Extract, but it is barely detectable, and it fades immediately. It is a really spectacular moisturizer, that is suitable for all skin types, and it isn't in the least bit surprising that it is an ALLURE Best of Beauty Award Winner!

Overall Assessment: What's not to love?! These are both worth trying, and I can assure you that I will use both down to the last drop. Would I purchase them afterward? Yes, I definitely plan on doing so!
