PRESS RELEASE (Unaffiliated Links)
Aftelier Perfumes launches Jasmine Face Elixir by Mandy Aftel
Organic Jasmine Face Elixir features the naturally fresh, spicy, intoxicating jasmine sambac. I buy this
essence directly from a small and careful grower in India who only offers it for sale once a year. This delightful jasmine aroma is uplifting and relaxing. Drifting off to sleep inhaling this gorgeous aroma makes you feel as if all is right in the world. I make my face elixirs in a base of organic oils: rice bran, sweet almond, apricot kernel, camellia, grapeseed, squalene, and rose hip seed. All of these oils are healing and promote cell regeneration. This fresh and floral nourishing treatment for the face is immediately moisturizing, softening, and conditioning. Add some drops of the elixir to your fingertips and gently pat into your clean face before bed. The lightweight non-greasy formula absorbs quickly
into your skin. You will drift off to sleep in a light veil of fragrance that soothes and relaxes. When you wake up, your skin will feel wonderfully nourished and revitalized. We also offer Organic Honeysuckle Face Elixir and Organic Rose Face Elixir .
I began making facial oils for my perfume line in the early1990’s and included recipes for making them in my book Essence & Alchemy (2001). Since then facial oils have grown more and more popular. The selection of organic base oils to choose from has grown exponentially over the years, which has
allowed me to consistently improve my formula. My criteria for using an organic oil in my formula include its ability to promote cell regeneration, be quickly absorbed into the skin, and to have no scent. Because you smell a nighttime facial treatment product even more than you do a perfume -- and fall asleep inhaling it, I feel that it is of paramount importance that the fragrance be beautiful.
Organic Jasmine Face Elixir is available in a 15 ml dropper bottle ($65), and a sample size ($6) at
www.aftelier.com. Mandy Aftel is an award-winning all-natural perfumer and author. She creates each
extraordinary Aftelier Perfumes fragrance by hand in small batches in her Berkeley, California studio.
