emerginC Pomegranate Cleanser | Review

 Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

If ever you find yourself hunting for a luscious lathering cleanser that thoroughly cleans the skin, but that is remarkably gentle– then you will want to continue reading this article. emerginC Pomegranate Cleanser is one of those unicorn cleansers that lathers, but instead of stripping the skin and leaving it taut it leaves it quenched, soft, supple and hydrated. It works wonders when used alone, or in conjunction with a cleaning device like the FOREO LUNA or the Clarisonic.

I have to say that I really love this cleanser. Despite the fact that I have normal-combination skin, I really prefer that my cleansers thoroughly cleanse while remaining gentle and non-stripping. This doesn't seem like a lot to ask for, but if you have a penchant for lathering cleansers it can be more than a little challenging to find. I never seek the squeaky clean effect– because it tends to leave my skin feeling tight, dry and uncomfortable, and emerginC Pomegranate Cleanser absolutely satisfies my desire to have a refreshing cleanser that leaves my skin completely clean, soft and supple– rather than taut and dry. In fact, it is so gentle that it is suitable for all skin types.

According to emerginC,

An effective cleansing gel with a wide variety of plant and herbal extracts designed to cleanse thoroughly and remove make-up without drying the skin.

This refreshing cleanser from emerginC is designed for all skin types. The clean-rinsing formula thoroughly eliminates impurities and excess oils without zapping essential moisture. Extracts of lemon peel, pomegranate, blackberry, chamomile, green tea, licorice, calendula, arnica and echinacea provide nutrients, purity and a health balance.

Active ingredients: Lemon Peel Extract, Pomegranate Extract, Blackberry Extract, Matricaria Extract (Chamomile), Green Tea, Licorice, Arnica, Calendula, Echinacea, Citric Acid.

Full ingredients: Water (Aqua), Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Glycerin, Echinacea Angustifolia (Coneflower) Leaf Extract, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Cocoglucosides Hydroxypropyltrimonium, Chloride, Glyceryl Oleate, Urea, PEG/PPG-120/10 Trimethylolpropane Trioleate, Laureth-2, Caramel.

Overall Assessment: A new obsession for me, and one worth your consideration if you seek a gentle cleanser that cleans thoroughly without stripping. While the scent is mild, it is so delectable that you may want to use it from head to toe!

    1. Me too, Honey! I really dislike using cleansers that make my skin feel tight and dry after– it always makes me feel as though I am washing my face with dish detergent! The scent is lovely, but it isn't – which is nice!
