Colbert MD Nutrify & Protect Day | Review

My love of Colbert MD skincare products has been well-documented in these virtual pages, and truth be told, I have never tried a single product from the line that I did not absolutely love. I have lots and lots of skincare products to choose from, and yet I use a few from Colbert MD on a daily basis. 

My latest Colbert MD obsession is the Nutrify & Protect Day, and what a sublime daytime moisturizer it is. It is an ultra silky smooth lotion that is lightweight, fast absorbing, and leaves behind no greasy film. It is remarkably nourishing and hydrating, and is well-suited for all skin types. This is an antioxidant-rich anti-aging powerbroker that fights free-radical damage, softened fine lines, and deeply hydrates even the most dehydrated skin. 

I have, without exaggeration, used this daytime moisturizer every single day since having opened it because the results are so impressive and visible. My skin looks and feels indescribably soft, supple, hydrated and luminous. My fine lines are softened and the texture of my skin is even with a beautiful radiance. I love that the texture is light without sacrificing any of the moisture associated with heavier creams, and that its very lightness leaves skin feeling comfortable without feeling burdened by a lingering heavy cream. It offers more than enough moisture for my normal to combination skin, and should for normal to dry skin types as well.

For a truly luxurious treat, that maximizes the benefits of Nutrify & Protect Day, I love to use it in conjunction with Colbert MD Stimulate the Serum (reviewed here) and Colbert MD Illumino Face Oil (reviewed here). This combination offers a level of moisture, nourishment and luminosity that I find difficult to achieve from most products, and the results last all day long.

Overall Assessment: This is an extraordinarily high quality luxury daytime moisturizer that is as pleasant to use as it is effective. If you are seeking a new daytime moisturizer that really does what it claims to do, and delivers real results, then Colbert MD Nutrify & Protect Day is definitely worth your consideration. This is one of the very few moisturizers that I will definitely run out and purchase before I finish this bottle. I should also note that the sanitary pump dispenser is a brilliant means of protecting your investment from contamination, and it likewise makes it easy to travel with in an overnight bag.

    Have never heard of this brand, but looks like an interesting product! Especially since it has mushrooms as a main ingredient! :)

    Great packaging since too few companies use a pump like this. Colbert MD products are always one to treasure.

    You may recall that I bought the Radical line after your reviews (during the Barney's bag event). Could you compare this line with that line please? Thanks! (And guess we know what you might be getting for either the upcoming Barneys or SpaceNK events....)

      Hi Cindy, Yes, I definitely remember your Radical purchases and facial as well. These two lines are so different from one another that it's virtually impossible to compare them in any kind of meaningful apples to apples way. Both utilize cutting edge proprietary technologies (Colbert MD utilizes their QuSome technology and Radical utilizes their Trylacel technology). Both are heavily invested in intensive scientific research in conjunction with highly effective antioxidant rich anti-aging ingredients. Both use a combination of botanicals with other effective ingredients in order to create potent and effective anti-aging products. Their philosophies are different, and the products themselves are very different. I think that both lines make extraordinary products, and that it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Both lines have luxurious textures, sink into the skin beautifully, and nourish and hydrate. I definitely think that they both rank among the finest luxury niche brands on the market.

      In that the lines are very different from one another, but are both of extraordinary quality. Yes, I suppose one might describe it that way. There is something exquisitely lightweight, fast absorbing and very nourishing about the whole Colbert line. It is not that Radical is heavy by any means, but there is a featherweight quality to Colbert MD products that distinguishes it from most lines.       That's always the issue around this time of the year since all of these events are going on, and so often overlapping!

      No, I received all of the information about the events directly from Barneys NY and Space NK. I have lots of information trickling in, but am still waiting for the specifics on step-up gifts etc. BNY is doing another one of the his and hers bag choices like they did last time, and the minimum purchase will be $200.00 again. It will run from September 9-13. I already have a picture of the bags and the list of the contents, but can't post it yet. It looks pretty good. As for SNK, they are shipping the bag to me this week so that I can post it, and along with it will be all of the details. I will definitely keep you posted!

    This looks like a great product. The price tag would scare me off a little. But, you do get what you pay for sometimes.

      The whole Colbert MD line is phenomenal, no question. It definitely is a luxury line with a luxury price point, but I definitely think that it's worth it.
