Rituals Himalaya Scrub Sweet Almond Oil & Indian Rose Salt Scrub | Review

Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

Given my unmitigated love for everything that Rituals makes, it should come as no surprise that I would effusively gush over their Rituals Himalaya Scrub Sweet Almond Oil & Indian Rose, and trust me when I say that the scent alone will make you deliriously happy. The scent is an amalgam of Rose with a hint of the Mentha Piperita Oil quietly asserting itself. The end result is a delectable rose peppered with a touch of mint, and the overall composition is otherworldly.

As a proponent of regular exfoliation, I routinely seek new scrubs to remove dead skin cells and leave skin baby soft, velvety smooth and utterly supple, but often times skin is left stripped and dehydrated. However, this scrumptious scrub is suspended in glorious moisturizing oils that leave skin unbelievably moisturized, and it would be a understatement to state theta it fulfills my desire to be left with skin that is baby soft, velvety smooth and utterly supple. This is an A+ scrub any way that you do the math!
According to Rituals,

Revitalise your skin with this velvety soft and cooling body scrub. This purifying scrub leaves a deep-acting, moisturising and protective film on your skin. Enriched with the luxurious fragrance of Indian Rose and soothing Sweet Almond Oil.

Traditional Ayurvedic medicine shows that scrubbing is an extremely effective way to purify your body and stimulate your body's energy flow. The process is accelerated if you take a warm bath afterwards.

Contains prehistoric Crystal Salts from the Himalayas which have a purifying and harmonising effect on inner balance and vitality.

Directions: Massage the body scrub onto damp skin. Rinse off with warm water in the shower or bath.
Ingredients: Sodium Chloride, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Parfum/Fragrance, Limonene, Menthol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Persica (Peach) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Coumarin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Mentha Piperita Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Tocopherol, Ocimum Basilicum Extract, Ocimum Tenuiflorum Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil.

Overall Assessment: If you love body scrubs, you need to try this one! I'm madly in love!

  6. Oh my gosh - this sounds great. I do agree... having a full body scrub is such a great experience and it really does energize your body and soul. A spa I go to at my local Waldorf Astoria does a full body scrub before your massage, it's one of my favorite things besides the terme. :)

  8. Seems like something to add to the list of possible fillers for the next Barney's event! Right now, though, I am using a body scrub by The Honest Company and am very pleased with it.

    2. Yes, just tried their body oil for the first time the other day. Really like it. Have you tried it? Honestly, I am becoming overrun with products after finding this site and a subscription box site. Not sure what I'm going to do. Every time I sternly tell myself I have too much, I find myself ordering more! I haven't found a place for all the stuff in my last 8 subscription boxes yet placed a large order at Nordstrom and Ulta yesterday. Could not resist the freebies at either site...... I need help with my addiction, clearly!

    3. I have only tried their body cleansing oil, and I absolutely love it! They really make such fantastic products.

Trust me, I know what you mean– I have so many products that they seem to be taking over several rooms in my house at this point. I try to make purchases far more selectively so that I know that I will use the products that I buy. That said, when one is afflicted with the obsession that we share over high quality skincare and makeup products one's natural curiously often prevails, and new things are purchased. As long as I am using what I buy, and am not being too impulsive or frivolous, then I am okay with it.

Great gifts with purchase are often too hard to resist for me as well. I often talk myself out of them, and then cave at the last minute because I don't want to miss out! I understand your conundrum first hand, I do!
