L'Occitane Divine Youth Oil | An Elated Review

Press Sample (Affiliate Links)

My penchant for luxury face oils is well documented, and despite the fact that I love many, my desire to investigate new and new-to-me oils is never truly satiated because there are so many lovely oils to try. I began testing L'Occitane Divine Youth Oil soon after it launched, and I fell head-over-heals in love with this gorgeous luxury beauty oil. It became apparent in little to me in very little time that this was an extraordinarily special beauty oil, and quite frankly– I was hooked immediately. To say that it is a divine oil is an understatement that cannot be sufficiently underscored, and its aptly chosen name perfectly describes it.
L'Occitane Divine Youth Oil is a lightweight and fast absorbing luxury oil that literally melts into the skin without leaving behind any oily residue. It leaves skin silky soft, deeply moisturized, and unmistakably luminous. Furthermore, this anti-aging luxury oil plumps fine lines, smooths the overall appearance of the skin, and gives skin celestial glow. The otherworldly velvety texture coupled with the delectable warm and comforting scent makes using Divine Youth Oil an extraordinary tactile and aromatic experience.

Suggested use:

-Apply alone or before your moisturizer.
-Warm a few drops of oil in the palm of your hand, then apply on the face, neck, and chest.
-For best results, use in the evening when the skin is least exposed to environmental stresses and conditions are most conductive to cell renewal.

I warm a few drops in my hands and massage Divine Youth Oil into warm, freshly cleansed skin. This allows it to penetrate the skin deeper and faster, and it also enables you to use less product. I have been using it during the day and the night– largely because this oil makes me deliriously happy, and I just can't seem to get enough of it. I also add a drop of it to my foundation or tinted moisture in order to provide my skin with extra hydration and greater luminosity.
According to L'Occitane,

The Divine Youth Oil helps fight visible signs of aging for a skin texture that appears replenished, as if plumped from within.

Made with 100% natural oils, the Divine Youth Oil has a light, silky texture with a non-oily finish that melts into the skin beautifully.

Skin's texture appears transformed. Skin looks more plump and velvety. Bursting with vitality, it is simply more radiant.

  1. That packaging is so luxurious! I keep telling myself I need to try facial oils but the prospect of breakouts scares me.

    1. The packaging definitely is! If your skin is particularly volatile, there are many great oils out there that heal blemishes rather than promote them. There are so many great antioxidant rich anti-inflammatory ingredients that work wonders!

    1. I love it as well, it is so luxurious and makes my skin look and feel absolutely amazing! They are pretty different oils, but both are absolutely amazing. I have been using the TATCHA oil more lately, and definitely think that it is utterly sublime. I would recommend trying it to see if you prefer one to the other, but it is hard for me to choose since I use and love them both. You might want to purchase the travel size directly from TATCHA to see if you love it enough to purchase the full size bottle next time. :-)

  9. Girls, I live in super humid weather island in Thailand, this oil works perfectly! I got these pimples from holiday in Sicily, the day after this oil plus tea tree oil on the spot, over night they all flat down. By day 3, I don't feel them anymore. In Love
