I needn't tell you what is already abundantly clear, but I will anyhow– I am utterly transfixed by Tom Ford Beauty. This is ultra high quality makeup, and I have so many favorites that I hardly know where to begin. Aside from my unmitigated love of Tom Ford Lip Colors, I am also absolutely smitten with the Cream Color for Eyes Formula.
The new Limited Edition Spring 2015 Cream Color for Eyes is described as,
Inspired by 80s rocker chicks, Tom Ford explores smoky eyes, matte lips and bare flawless skin within his Spring beauty collection. The Spring 2015 Cream Color for Eyes eyeshadow is an ultra-pigmented formula, infusing advanced color technology with antioxidants, designed to deliver pure, luminous color with a non-crease, long-lasting finish.
Spring 2015 Cream Color for Eyes is a complex blackened khaki-kissed charcoal shade that is sooty and smoky in character. It contains gorgeous multi-color shimmer that adds a lovely complexity to the finish, but without being overly glittery. The color has a chameleon-like complexity that shifts in hue depending upon the lighting. It is an ultra-sexy and ultra-gorgeous color that spreads across the lids effortlessly, and it deposits buildable color evenly. The whipped texture is glorious, and it is so user friendly that one can easily apply it with their fingers or a brush.
If you are a fan of cream shadows, then this is a formula well worth trying, and I can't recommend it highly enough. I find it to be long-lasting, and I get crease-free wear before it begins to fade toward the end of the day. However, if you have oily eyelids, then you will want to use a primer to avoid creasing.

Get the Look:
To create the sensual, sultry, smoky eye, Cream Color for eyes was used in Spring 2015 shade. Softly stroke the shadow on the lid and blend away the edges softly to the brow bone and into the crease bone.
The Eye Defining Pencil in Onyx was used along the lash line and waterline and then softly blended into the Cream Color for eyes.
Finish with multiple coats of Extreme Mascara in Raven on the upper and lower lashes.
To compliment and highlight the sultry and bold eye look, the lips were kept simple. The perfect nude Lip Color in Vanilla Suede—was applied right from the bullet.
The Vanilla Suede Lip Color was also used on the cheekbones to perfect the look.

Great post. I'm a fan of TF Beauty too, especially the nail polish colors. Is there no color name for the eyeshadow? Now I want it as well! Thanks for doing the swatches.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jill! You are very welcome. Believe it or not, the name of it appears to actually be "Spring 2015"– which seems a bit like a non-name name! It's definitely worth having– I wish that it wasn't limited edition, and that they would add a line of the Cream Colors for Eyes to the permanent core line! The polishes are so lovely, I agree!
DeleteIt's so rich and pigmented!
ReplyDeleteIt really is!
DeleteI got the cream color but haven't dove in yet! I hear amazing things from EVERYONE and your swatches make me want to get in to it NOW.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you have this beauty, Brooke! I can't wait to hear what you think about it!
DeleteI wasn't all that impressed when the first photos of Spring 2015 began emerging on the blogs, but when I saw it at the counter, I fell head over heals in love with it. I don't use it all over my lid because it would make me look cadaverous, but I love it smoked along my upper and lower lash lines and extended up into the outer <. It's a very sultry and sexy color. As for the formula, it is creamy and applies smoothly and evenly. It is richly pigmented, very complex in color, and wears like iron on my eyes. Tom Ford cream eyeshadows are also incredibly long lasting. I have some that are two years old and they haven't dried out in the least. As far as I'm concerned, TF leaves the competition in the dust! Now I'm eagerly awaiting the summer release which has the new stacked eyeshadows. There's a cream shadow in a jar on the bottom and a "celestial" powder in a pan on the top. From the pictures I've seen, it looks like there will be a nice assortment of quintessential summer colors as well as some more neutral pairings. Bring it on! LOL
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way! I am so glad that I finally picked it up before it is gone! I completely agree with your assessment about this TF Cream Shadow in particular, and about his Cream Shadows being peerless. I don't think that anyone comes even close, and as far as I'm concerned TF doesn't even have competition to leave in the dust! I think they are that much better than all of the other cream shadows on the market!
DeleteYes, I can't wait to see the Summer Collection in person, and I have very high hopes! Everything looks so gorgeous, and those cream shadow/celestial powder duos are truly breathtaking! I do wish that there was a Lip Vinyl or two in the collection though! :-)
Alas! No Vinyl :-( But at least there's a new cream blush to try. I don't know about you, but I'm saving my pennies. I have the feeling I'm going to be "needing" a lot of items from the summer collection ;-)
DeleteI know, I cry Tom Ford tears at the thought that there is no Vinyl. You are right though, this could be a very expensive collection once we have picked out our must-have treasures! I think that there may well be a lot of "needing"!!!
DeleteHoped to see it applied on eyelids because all FOTD I have seen so far were quite scary.
ReplyDeleteHi Jane,
DeleteSorry, I didn't snap any pictures of it on my eyes, but I will say that I was thrilled with the results. Most recently I applied it with a flat paddle synthetic brush and blended it until it was a more sheer-leaning wash of smoky sooty color, and then lined my upper lash line in back. It is definitely very easy to make it very wearable. Additionally, the color itself is so complex that once it is sheered out the warmth of the khaki comes through making it far more softened and elegant. :-)
Wow, how gorgeous are these! <3
ReplyDeleteThey really are quite lovely!
DeleteSadly, Spring 2015 creased badly on me, even with primer. Loved the color, hated the formula.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer! I'm surprised that even a good primer didn't keep it in place! :-(
DeleteOh my, how tantalizing! You had me at Tom Ford and cream shadow. Though I have many brown shades, I have none in cream and none that are cream shimmers. I will look at the entire collection next trip to Boston which is the only place you can find Tom Ford around here!
ReplyDeleteHi Allison, That's the perfect word to describe this lovely shadow! This one is definitely worth considering! Too bad you don't have a counter a touch closer!
Deletewow, those cream color little sumptuous pots of goodness! I need them now in my life.
ReplyDeleteHow was your weekend my darling gorgeous Helen? Here all is the same: writing and reading and that is just how life goes. Not too bad, really.
Sending you light for this week my sweets <3
Hello my darling friend! I agree that it is definitely a sumptuous pot of goodness! My weekend was peaceful– I hope that yours was lovely. All os essentially the same here as well. Glad to hear that you are writing and reading. Sending you much love and happiness! xoxox
DeleteGorgeously swatched & described Sis. Am loving this chameleon colour & think it's genius that TF brought it out for Spring-the khaki tone is soooo Spring! Going 2team it with Vanilla Suede when I next apply :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nishi! I'm glad that you enjoyed it, and that we are both enjoying this stunning gem of a cream eyeshadow! I agree with your assessment!!!!!! You must try it with Vanilla Suede, and maybe your new Missoni treasures! :-)
DeleteVanilla Suede is lovely and I'm not normally a nude fan
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a very special nude! This type of shade would look amazing on you, Courtney!
DeleteI was afraid to even read this and now I know why! The color is really beautiful and I don't see any glitter in it. I have/had a gold cream one but it was too sparkly. Why do you do this to me??
ReplyDeleteIt really is beautiful, Marcia! There is some shimmer, but it's definitely not a glitter-bomb gone wrong! It is definitely worth having!
DeleteCan't blame you twinsy, TF is addicting! I have this cream e/s and love it to death :-) I
ReplyDeleteIt really is addictive! This cream shadow looks AMAZING on you!
DeleteOBSESSED! I absolutely need this in my life. Both of them.
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! They are definitely both obsession-worthy! At least Vanilla Suede isn't LE, but if you want the shadow I would grab it before it is gone!
DeleteSuch a gorgeous combo!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you, Bailey!
DeleteI seriously need to get my hands on some TF products. All of you ladies' posts make me seriously jealous :)
ReplyDeleteIt easily turns into an obsession– that's for sure!
DeleteOkay, WOW. That cream color is seriously to die for. NEED.
ReplyDeleteIt really is an absolutely gorgeous shadow!
