There is certainly no end in sight for the extraordinary popularity of lip plumping products, but there aren't very many that are filled with natural ingredients. BITE Beauty Cinnamon Lip Oil is a "99%-natural cinnamon- and Resveratrol-infused lip oil that naturally hydrates, shines, and plumps the appearance of lips in one spicy swipe."
I love a good lip plumper, and have to say that I am more than a little obsessed with this one! Not only does it do an impressive job plumping the lips, but it also tastes a bit like Hot Tamales candy! The cinnamon taste will be a welcome alternative to people who love lip plumbers, but aren't fond of the mint taste that most lines use.
According to BITE Beauty,
Delicious enough to eat, this Plumping Lip Oil creates a soft cinnamon heat that delivers a natural flush minutes after application. Nourishing oils from cinnamon bark and pink pepper stimulate circulation for a natural plumping effect while peppermint oil provides a subtle warming sensation on lips. French olive oil, pure jojoba, castor seed oil, and argan oil hold five times their weight in moisture for long-lasting all-day hydration.
Cinnamon Plumping Lip oil is 99.9% natural and enriched with BITE’s signature powerhouse antioxidant Resveratrol to condition and repair lips with long-term antiaging benefits. BITE Beauty is created with food-grade ingredients for beauty that’s better for you, and do not contain parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals, and phthalates.
BITE Beauty Cinnamon Lip Oil is a tantalizing shade of red, but imparts only a faint wash of a sheer rosy color on the lips. It feels like a non-sticky lip gloss, replete with a lovely glimmering shine, that is beautiful worn alone or layered on top of your favorite lipstick.
I find the formula moisturizing, thanks to BITE Beauty's use of Argan, Jojoba and Olive oils, and lips are comfortably hydrated while the cinnamon oil plumps the lips. I find a slight tingling when I use this plumper, but I find the sensation pleasant. That said, if your lips are particularly sensitive, and you have had problems with lip plumbers– then this may not be a good fit for you. However, if you seek a non-chemical laden lip plumper– then this one is well worth your consideration.
According to BITE Beauty,

I have a couple of lip balms that are plumping, but I don't actually look for lip-plumping products! I wasn't aware Bite makes one. I might eventually want to try their lip mask tho!
ReplyDeleteHi Sunny, There's definitely no need to try it, if you never seek out plumpers. I have, and love, their lip mask, and definitely think that it's worth trying!
DeleteIs this just a lip plumper or does it have color as well? If a plumper, do you just layer it on your lips prior to your lipstick/lipgloss/lipstain?
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a lip plumper, but it has the sheen of a lip gloss. The color is a very very sheer rosy hue. I either use it alone, or on top of a lipstick.
DeleteOh, that is interesting. I was thinking it went on first. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI think that you could definitely put it on first as well, but I like to treat it like a gloss if I wear it with a lipstick. Otherwise I just use it alone. It's definitely effective enough that it still works if it is placed on top of a lipstick!
