Overall Assessment: Three more beautiful high quality products from pürminerals! While I find all three excellent on my combination skin I do think that people with dry skin may prefer the liquid to the powder foundation. The powder version isn't in the least bit drying, but I think that the liquid version offers a greater degree of hydration.

Hi gorgeous one! How is your lovely existence going? Here it rains and its dark and I prefer it to the heaviest sun I experienced for the first time in my life! Would you recommend this green primer to me? I mean, you know I have redness that goes beyond the limits of my control but I also have bad combination skin: crazy oily, porous nose and side of the nose and dry flaky patches on my cheeks and temples. Hsving said that, I don't like extra flawless skin, just smooth but not perfect if that makes any sense. I don't like full coverage foundations I just want to neutralize that ugly redness. pfffffffffffff, what a long description. What do you think? Should I try it? Have you tried Kevin Aucoin's primer and foundations? The YSL one I just got is horrendous. It sticks to all my flaws, enhances my pours with a pool of foundations, it oxidizes orangy within 5 minutes, it lasts less than 2 hours on my skin. Just horrendous :(
ReplyDeleteMany hugs to you H!
Hello my friend! Things are going well-- slowly but surely feeling better in the wake of this nasty bug. I'm not surprised that you are finding some relief in the rain! It's starting to cool down at night here-- it's crisp and pleasant!
DeleteThis primer is quite good at neutralizing redness, and it might be worth trying. They sell it at Ulta-- so if you are near an Ulta it might be worth going and seeing in person to determine whether you want to try it. I think that it might work, but you might want to try before you buy.
I know what you mean about extra flawless skin-- it often looks unnatural despite the effort to look naturally flawless. Full coverage foundations often look more like a mask than like natural skin, and I don't like that look for me at all!
I haven't tried the Kevyn Aucoin primer or foundation-- other than swatching on my arm. I don't have any YSL foundations, but that's wretched that yours works so poorly-- you should return it!
Have a lovely weekend! xoxox
