If you haven't yet entered the world of Mally Beauty, then you really need to add it to your must-try lines. Mally is one of those lines that makes so many wonderful products that you quickly develop brand loyalty based upon the exemplary high quality and affordable products! I love everything that I have tried from Mally so far, and their High Shine Liquid Lipstick Pens are just extraordinary.
According to Mally,

Mally's High-Shine Liquid Lipstick Pen is a high-performance, 4-in-1 product that includes your lip primer, lipstick, lip gloss, and lip liner all in one! It is a beautiful, smooth, and creamy formula that lasts. These lip pens give you the perfect amount of color combined with the sexy high shine of a gloss. You can wear it over Mally's Lipstick Singles to add shine or alone to give you a beautiful everyday glossy lip.

This formula is just amazing for so many reasons. These gorgeous glimmering pens are filled with richly pigmented, non-sticky, long-wearing hybrid lip gloss lipsticks that feel wonderful on the lips. They each feature the perfect amount of cushion, and are neither too thin nor too thick, and they also have the distinction of being creamy and smooth. The high gloss finish coupled with the wear of a liquid lipstick make these the perfect choice for anyone who seeks a fantastic all-in-one lip product. Furthermore, the formula itself acts as a lip primer, and the precise brush applicator mimics the application of a lip liner. I love all three of the shades that I have, but I must tell you that the formula and colors are so spectacular that I want to collect the rest of the colors!
Top to Bottom: Apricot, Must Have Pink and Pearly Girl

  1. apricot is gorgeous! are we moving out of the season for this shade though? it seems like a very cheerful summery color! i've been looking for a no brainer/goes with everything pink and must have pink seems to fit the bill. arg, i was just at ulta earlier today! i'd never thought i'd say this but luckily (lol), something i bought was slightly defective so i can visit these beauties when i take the defective item back.

    1. Apricot is definitely gorgeous. While I certainly understand the impulse to wear certain shades during certain seasons-- I think that it's important to wear colors that make you happy. If a particular color looks great on you I think that it can be worn irrespective of the season. I pretty much wear whatever colors I feel like wearing :-) That said, I think that Apricot has enough richness of color to be worn in the Autumn-- even for those who tend to lean toward richer colors as the weather cools down. Oh yeah, Must Have Pink is definitely a goes with everything pink-- it's pretty stunning, actually! I would definitely check these out when you go back to Ulta! They are lovely lippies! I'd love to hear what you think of them! I just saw your email-- I will sit down and write you back this weekend-- I have barely been home! :-)

  3. The formula sounds pretty amazing. But do I detect a lot of shimmer in the swatches or is that just the light?

    1. Apricot and Pearly Girl definitely have shimmer, but not overwhelmingly so. The soft-focus picture definitely picks up on the shimmer! :-) THe formula is REALLY lovely!

  4. I love the idea of the soft focus in the last photo to capture the sparkle....I recently acquired an actually real camera for blogging and I'm still figuring it out, but capturing the sheen and sparkle in swatches is so difficult! :-) you know, the only products I've tried from Mally are her eyeliners which are really great. I should expand!

    1. Hi Kimmy! Congratulations on your new camera! Soft focus pictures really work well to show the sparkle-- it takes a little bit of getting used to when one i intentionally trying to get an out-of-focus shot! ally eyeliners are so wonderful! The more that I try from the line-- the more that I want to try! Have fun with your new camera!!!!!!! Enjoy your weekend :-)
