I'm smitten with my picks, and will be reviewing them soon. Stay tuned, I will be doing a huge feature on The Beauty Event itself! It was absolutely fantastic!

Not that the Surratt doesn't look divine or anything, but I'm just going to sit here and stare at the Tatcha for a while..... :D
ReplyDeleteLOL! I'm glad that you are enjoying the pictures! The Surratt and the Tatcha are absolutely divine! :D
DeleteHi Helen,
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your review on your Surratt goods. Out of the five items in your photo I can see I have the same blush & 2 lipsliques as you! Haha, we have such good taste ;D
xo Naomi
Hi Naomi, Of course we selected the exact same things-- we always do!!!!!! xoxo, Helen
DeleteMy favorite product from my Surratt haul is the lipstick I bought. It's a little too light or it would be perfect. If I lived there I'd be all over his line but I made mistakes buying it the way I did. Of course your reviews will probably make a big difference!!!
ReplyDeleteHis Lipslique lipsticks are just amazing! His textures really lend themselves to easy layering-- so why not mix the lipstick with another shade to darken it up a touch? I definitely think it was hard to figure out what to buy since the line was brand new when you made your purchases and you were making selections based on little more than verbal descriptions. I will try to get my reviews done before too long!
DeleteDon't tease! What are the shade names?!
ReplyDeleteHi LuckyRedLisa-- I just posted my coverage of the event, and included more information about the specific products that I purchased as well. The Lipsliques pictured above are: Chuchoter (pinky nude) and Fee Soie (a glistening sugar pink). The Blush is Pomponner (dolly pink) and the highlighter is Aureole (a glistening golden shade). Additionally I selected his Autographique Refillable Liquid Liner in Chat Noir. I am just elated by everything that I came home with! :-)
DeleteWOW, what an amazing event! I wish that I could have been there! Is that beauty next to Troy Surratt you, or is that Emmy Rossum?! BTW, I am obsessed with your amazing blog!! xx, Jen
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! It was a fabulous event-- I wish that you could have attended! No, that beauty next to Troy is not me, I never asked her name and quickly moved on to take the next picture without talking to her, but she certainly looks like Emmy Rossum. :-)
