If I could only count how many tubes of ChapStick that I have used in my life so far, I am sure that it would be a very very big pile indeed! Brand nostalgia aside, I have to say that their new Hydration Lock is an astounding achievement. The new ChapStick Hydration Lock is very lightweight, feels wonderfully hydrating on the lips, is silky smooth, and is enriched with the antioxidant CoQ10 and Vitamin E. The formula was conceived to provide 8 full hours of hydration, but I like the way that Hydration Lock feels on the lips so much that I frequently reapply it. I did however apply it at 8:00AM one morning and left my lips bare until 4:00PM to see what would happen, and my lips still looked and felt good eight hours later. I prefer having something on my lips, but I was quite impressed nonetheless. The Vanilla Crème flavor is quite pleasant, but it fades almost immediately.
