According to Mario Badescu, their Enzyme Cleansing Gel is their best-selling cleanser, and I can definitely see why. (Press Sample. First link unaffiliated).

HOW TO USE: "Twice daily, massage in a circular motion on wet skin avoiding eye area. Rinse with tepid water. Pat dry and follow with toner or astringent." I would only add that I really like to let the cleanser sit on my face for a few extra minutes to allow the fruit acids and alpha hydroxy acids to work their magic- the result is glowing soft and supple skin. This cleanser is so effective and satisfying to use that I reach for it very often. While they do say to avoid the eye area- I have removed my eye makeup with it though it is not intended as an eye makeup remover. I didn't get it into my eyes, but I can't recommend it for this purpose since the company clearly suggests avoiding the eye area. This is, no doubt, because you will want to avoid getting alpha hydroxy acid and fruit acids in your eyes. So I would suggest heeding their suggestion, as will I in the future.
