Advancements with stem cell technology have continued to provide more powerful and effective marine derived and botanical plant stem cells in the skin care market. DermaQuest combines the latest generation of plant stem cells to reduce pigmentation, fine lines, and protect the skin from environmental damages. These plant stem cells contain all the active molecules of the plant to effectively address multiple areas of concern. Dermaquest contends that this glossy lip enhancer instantly moisturizes and plumps the lips while simultaneously protecting them against free radical damage. There is an unmistakable tingle from the peppermint oil, but I found it neither painful, nor uncomfortable. My lips were unmistakably hydrated from use, and I experienced a slight plumping effect as well. The glossy shine is quite nice, but it is colorless- therefore if you want a touch of color beyond the pigmentation of your lips- then you will need to add another lip product. That said, I prefer to use this lip treatment on its own so as not to dilute any of the benefits by adding additional lip products. I find that my lips look and feel great during and after use, so much so that I will likely buy a tube once this one is all used up.

Overall assessment: Given that I have a ridiculously large stash of lip products, one might think that this was just another one in the lineup, but I am actually quite impressed by how great my lips look and feel after using this product!
