I have said it before and I'm sure that I will say it again, but magic time for our feline crew is the moment that we strip the bed to change the sheets. They relish the idea of covering the bare mattress in as much cat fur as they can, and I am pretty sure that they snicker while we clean the mattress after they lounge about. I am also fairly certain that they know the real truth that the bed actually belongs to them, and that they have merely granted us an easement for nighttime use only. Ah, the life of a cat!
Your cats are pretty!!! My kitties love clean fresh laundries and will not stop rolling on them until they are all covered with their fur. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Miaka! I know just what you mean about fresh laundry and kitties-- I have the same problem!! I have to put it away very fast in order to avoid them lounging on it!!!!! :-)
DeleteI want them!!!!! LOL!!! Precious little bundles!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet boys (most of the time)!! I will bring them to the Burberry Mothership- LOL!!! :-)
Deleteoh goodness. this is just perfect. i may love cats even more than i love perfumes. if i can bottle the smell of my (sadly now gone) cat sleeping under the sun into a perfume bottle i would consider myself satisfied
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean!! I love cats more than just about anything!! You bring tears to my eyes saying that about bottling the smell of your kitty-- that makes me think of my beloved Sebastian who died about two years ago-- a day doesn't go by that I don't miss him with all of me!
DeleteSorry to take your beauty blog into another direction and start crying here for our lost beloved cats. It happens the same to me after my cat died. I still dream about her. I think of her daily, and sometimes I even feel her close.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your crazily gorgeous felines. Cats sleeping together is just precious.
Absolutely no need to apologize! There are no rules that dictate that we can only discuss makeup and skincare here. In fact, I am elated that we go well beyond those topics! I know just what you mean- there are certain losses that one never gets over, and I think that we have both experienced that level of loss with our beloved kitties! Every single time that I pick up and hug one of my cats- I appreciate that I can (but also simultaneously lament the fact that I can no longer snuggle with the ones who have died). :-(
DeleteI wish that they lived longer than they do- because it is just so devastating losing them! That said, the time that we do have with them is just so precious, and they are such amazing beings!
Have a lovely weekend! <3
