Prestige Cosmetics: Eyeshadows, Total Intensity Eyeliners & Mineral Lipgloss Review & Swatches

Prestige Cosmetics is a well known company that launched over 30 years ago, and has remained true to their goal of making high quality products at affordable prices. Truth be told, if you didn't know the prices you would assume that each of their products had a much heftier price tag.
Their products are silky smooth, highly pigmented, long-wearing, and feature gorgeous beautifully saturated colors.
Eyeshadow Duo in Green Tea ($4.50) is a gorgeous combination of a vibrant mossy green and a luscious peach. Both shades are silky smooth with gorgeous pigmentation, and frankly feel and wear like luxury brand shadows. Additionally, they have gorgeous shimmer, and are long-wearing. At $4.50 it's really a bargain price for two fantastic quality eye shadows!

• Wet or dry formula
• Non-creasing
• Long wearing color

Ingredients: Talc, Mica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Zinc Stearate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Phenoxyethanol, Polyethylene Terephthalate, Acrylates Copolymer, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Potassium Sorbate, Isobutylparaben. Total Intensity Eyeliner in Strong Slate ($5.50) is a gorgeous dark graphite gray that is very soft and glides across the delicate eye area without pulling or tugging. This is a very long-wearing formula, and once the liner sets it won't budge. You will want to use a makeup remover with some oomph to remove this!!

Total Intensity Eyeliner in *Lively Turquoise ($5.50) is a vivid and highly saturated bright Turquoise. PR samples sent for the purpose of review, but all opinions expressed are categorically my own.

  1. Great post. I had the exact eyeshadow duo and it looked nothing like that swatched, it had no pigmentation whatsoever, I must have had a dud one. Excellent post though, really informative and your swatches are fab.

    1. Thanks, Stephanie!! That's so strange that yours had no pigmentation! This duo just glided on like butter. I have no idea how the rest of them perform because this is the only one that i have ever swatted- let alone tried. THanks for stopping by!! :-)

  3. I love seeing reviews of Prestige - such a great brand. The Total Intensity liner is my most used liner ever, I would pick it over all my higher end liners. I haven't seen this slate shade though, it looks lovely. The only downside about Prestige is their products aren't always easily accessible, it seems like a lot of retailers sell just a limited line. Hopefully their full line will start being stocked in more stores in the future.

    1. Hi Catherine! Thanks for stopping by! I agree that Prestige is such a great brand!! I, too, wish that it was more widely available. I have seen a decent selection at one Ulta, but it was far from a full range of products. I am not surprised that the Total Intensity liner is your most used liner ever-- it is such an amazing product. I definitely want to get more of them! Have a lovely day! :-)

  4. Great review! I have heard so much about Prestige but I haven't tried it yet. I guess I will be going to try it out since I love the colors and formulation. But I heard that they come in limited stocks, is that true?

  5. Hi Emie, Thank you! Prestige rally does have lovely quality products that are very affordable. It does seem to be a bit difficult to find places that stock large portions of their collection. I have seen lots of the eye liner pencils at Ulta, and have seen some at various drugstores. I am on the lookout though, and will be sure to post something if I find a store with lots of stock.
