In my recent review of the Giorgio Armani Rouge D'Armani Lipstick in Beige 103 and Chanel Glossimer in Sweet Beige, I noted that Beige 103 exemplifies what I consider to be the perfect pinky nude beige because it can easily be persuaded to lean more pink or peach depending upon how you layer it. In my previous post I showed how Beige 103 could morph into a very lovely peachy nude, but here I thought I would illustrate just how easily it shifts into the perfect pink pout.
As previously noted, more often than not I wear Rouge D'Armani Beige 103 over Rouge Bunny Rouge Vasco Lip Liner (reviewed here), and then top it off with Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Love (reviewed here). I find that the combination of the three creates the perfect pink nude that is infinitely wearable and flattering.
Overall assessment: Pink pout perfection, period.

That does look like a perfect, natural pink combination. And the Armani formula is one of my very favourites.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, It's definitely a combination that I am really getting a lot of wear out of lately! You are so right!! The Armani formula is quite amazing-- I sort of want them all! ;-)
DeleteThat Rouge Bunny Rouge looks great! I think it would be too pale for me to pull off though. I love a good matte lip!
ReplyDeleteHi Melody! Thanks for stopping by! RBR lip liners are pretty amazing-- so far I only have this one and Roald-- which is a darker pink that you might also like. It's rather dangerous that RBR is available at BeautyHabit-- making the temptation so much closer!! A good matte lip is amazing-- especially with all of the new formulas that are coming out now! Have a lovely evening! xo
DeleteMy love for 103 is endless! So perfect for brides as well!
ReplyDeleteAnd with good reason!! You really are responsible for my love affair with the Rouge D'Armani Lipstick formula in general, but more specifically it is because of you that I am in this mad love affair with 103! I can see how this would be perfect for brides as well-- I can't think of what it isn't good with. In fact, life is just better with 103!!!!
DeleteI love #103 and have gone through almost three tubes of this shade! I haven't tried it with Vasco but am now inspired to do so...
ReplyDeleteHope all is well dear friend!

Hi sweetie!! WHy am I not surprised that yet again we share the same loves!! I think that you will like it with Vasco-- since you have a penchant for light pinky peachy lips!! I hope that you are doing well! I imagine that you are insanely busy!! xo <3
DeleteGorgeous. I need to buy 103 now for sure. I'll be at Nordstrom tomorrow I think. Too bad I don't like Chantecaille lip products because of the scent. What else would you recommend?
ReplyDeleteHI Marcia, you definitely need 103-- what about something like LMdB Sweet Creme Lip Creme Lip Gloss-- is that too pale for you? I am thinking that you could even pop a little LMdB Purple Haze in the center. Do you have any lighter pinky Glossimers in your stash? I think those would be perfect as well!
DeleteAnother gorgeous Rouge d'Armani! I NEED one/a few of these IMMEDIATELY! :P
ReplyDeleteHey Becca!!! It's the same Rouge D'Armani!! Both are #103-- it's just that I made this one lean pink, and the other version lean peach! With your penchant for Burberry Lip Mists- I would think that you would really love these as well!! <3
