Monique Lhuillier Embroidered Tulle Ballgown
A stunning work of art by Monique Lhuillier. I could neither afford it, nor would I have anywhere to wear this-- I am nevertheless struck by how beautiful and ethereal it is. Image from Neiman Marcus.

I absolutely LOVE Monique Lhuillier - her story, her designs, everything!! That dress is stunning...it's amazing all the little details that go into her work. I got married last Fall and was lucky enough to wear my dream Monique Lhuillier wedding dress :-) I keep thinking I should try to sell it, as I'll never wear it again and to get a little $ back...but a big part of me can't bear to let something so beautiful go - especially knowing I will probably never have another one of her gowns hanging in my closet (like you said $$ and where would I ever wear it??!). Oh, first world problems...ha ha!
ReplyDeleteMe too!!!!!!!! This dress is insane!! You lucky girl-- I can't believe that you wore a Monique Lhuillier wedding dress!!! I don't know if I would be able to part with it!!! Maybe you can create some justifiable reason to wear it again ;-)
Deleteoh gosh, this is so beautiful i almost wish i was a princess or celeb to wear it XD
ReplyDeleteMe too!! It is simply divine, but I can't imagine ever having enough disposable income to be able to afford something like this!!! xo
DeleteGorgeous. And I love the line-- "art we all live in"... so true for me!
