According to Rouge Bunny Rouge, This is the Enchanted Garden’s euphoric medley of temptations. Whether you’re feeling kittenish, tempestuous or mellow, sate your spirit in this divinely flirtatious cascade of colour packed in a voluptuous shine. Your lips will appear polished and fuller; their shape magnified and highlighted.
Their glosses contain anti-oxidants with anti-aging benefits that nourish and hydrate the lips. The formula contains Vitamin E and a regenerating "cocktail of botanical goodies" such as Sesame, Neem and Boswellia Oils, Lotus Flower Extract, Gingko Biloba, and Green Tea. The bottom line is that this gloss is moisturizing and feels fantastic on the lips. It is moderately thick, but not tacky-- and it imparts the most beautiful pearlized glow. The pigmentation is more sheer than opaque, but it offers enough color to produce a magical effect. It is really gorgeous!
Rouge Bunny Rouge suggests the following tricks: to cover your lips with a light touch for a fresh, healthy and natural look use your fingertips to apply the lip gloss. Use the lip gloss on top of your lipstick to intensify the color or to customize every shade. You can also increase your wear time by first applying a lip liner to the entire lip area before applying the gloss. However, I find that they wear time of the gloss alone lasts about 4 hours provided that I am not eating or drinking.
As you can see from the swatches the color definitely is more pink that the official description suggests. It is a really lovely color and formula.

I wanted this gwp so badly but I had to refrain. Stop teasing me! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's a really lovely gloss, Marcia! However, I know you tend to prefer more pigmented/opaque glosses- which this is not. It's got a touch more color than Sunday RIley's, in general-- but since you were underwhelmed by Pink Lemonade- you might be with this as well. This swatch is heavily applied to show the color, but as I said in the post- it's pretty sheer on the lips. I think under normal circumstances (if it wasn't free, that is) that this would probably be a pass for you.
DeleteI concur with Marcia...aghh!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really lovely lip gloss! I'm sure there will be other specials!!
DeleteI adore RBR and their packaging and their fairytale story that goes on throughout the brand. Not to mention their products are really good. Great review.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura!! I'm crazy about RBR too. What shocks me is the fact that I have yet to find a single disappointing product in the line!!
