Eco Tools Bamboo Bronzer Brush: Budget Friendly, Eco Friendly, and Fantastic!

EcoTools is a cruelty-free eco-friendly company that makes a few truly amazing brushes. Chief among them, in my opinion, is their Bamboo Bronzer Brush.

Create a natural-looking, sun-kissed glow with this beauty editor favorite! Our widely-acclaimed bronzer brush features soft, cruelty-free taklon bristles, a recycled aluminum ferrule and heavy bamboo handle.
While EcoTools markets this as a bronzer brush- I would suggest that it is more of a multitasking long handled Kabuki brush instead. In addition to being a good bronzer brush- it also does an extraordinary job of applying and buffing loose and pressed powder, buffing blush, buffing out foundation, and just about anything else you can think of.

As you can see this brush has a very densely packed domed head making it an extraordinary choice for powder products. It is unbelievably soft to the touch without compromising efficacy. The chunky handle is made of sustainably grown bamboo, and is comfortable to hold. Some people find the handle to be too thick, but I really like that it feels substantial in my hand. I will also add that even after repeated washings my brush still hasn't shed a single hair.

Overall assessment: This is a remarkably good brush for an amazing price. I use it often and really love it.

$9.99 at Rite Aid and Target, but there are online deals for even less.

  1. Ecotools brushes are actually very well made for the price. I recently purchased a second travel set. Love them!

    1. I totally agree. I have a few of their sets and a few of the individual brushes-- I really like them a lot as well. They are such a good deal!

  2. Yep coming in to second the sentiment. I have a few Eco brushes, and they are exquisitely soft. My only issue is they take forever to dry. I just sacrificed my Ecco eyeshadow brush to Mr. Petals so he can use it to clean his new camera lens. The one that came with the kit is too scratchy!

The thickish, wood handle is more "butch" than some of my other brands. ;)

    1. They do take a while to dry, but such nice brushes- and so reasonably priced. THat is awesome that Mr. Petals is using it for his camera lens!! Well, if you sacrificed it to the cause then I think that it is only fair that you use the camera to photograph brushes!!

      It is pretty butch- LOL!

  3. Very nice brush...must use eco friendly and organic brushes for the better upkeep of the skin and they also stick around for a longer time.It is essential to use very good quality brushes after all.

  4. This reminds me I need to repurchase this brush. I used it constantly, but a few months ago decided to try this "quick makeup brush cleaning technique" I saw on youtube, using alcohol.. don't recommend that, it ended up destroying the brush. But it really is such an amazing brush, esp for the price (although I prefer it over higher end brushes anyway)
