Charisma Crème Cleanser is no ordinary cream cleanser. It is formulated for normal to dry skin types, and while I lean normal to combination- it works beautifully on my skin.
Purpose:
Non-foaming milk-based cleanser that cleans skin (and makeup!) thoroughly but gently. Silky, lightweight texture with great slip and a mild fruit acid blend that helps to wash away dead skin cells along with toxins, makeup, and debris. Lines seem to literally melt away with this softening, satiny, but non-greasy cleanser. Regenerates the skin and provides vital antioxidant and vitamin-packed protection for a youthful glow.
Skin softening blend of milk and aloe works with multi-fruit acids to leave your skin supple and refreshingly clean. Chamomile, lavender, and green tea soothe, and restore, reducing inflammation. Increases Collagen, Restores Elasticity, Anti-Oxidant, Softening.
I find everything about this cleanser pleasant, effective, and satisfying to use (it smells and feels phenomenal). I tend to use it once a day, and generally in the shower. I let it sit on my skin for the entire time that I'm in the shower- so that the lactose and fruit acids can really do their job exfoliating my skin in the most gentle and effective way. Then I use my Clarisonic at the very end of my shower and rinse with warm to hot water. The end result is unbelievably soft and supple skin that is very clean. This cleanser is so gentle and non-stripping that even those with the most sensitive skin will be amazed by the results. I alternate using Charisma Crème Cleanser with Sunday Riley's Gray Exposé Cleanser (reviewed here) & Ceramic Slip Cleanser (reviewed here)- depending on the weather, and/or the condition of my skin. I find that my skin is the happiest and the clearest when I alternate between these cleansers. I never expected that my skin could ever feel so soft, moisturized, and cleaned from any cleanser- let alone a cream cleanser! I am so glad that I was willing to be open-minded enough to give Charisma Crème Cleanser a try because it has become one of my skincare staples.
If you are reluctant to try it because it is a cream cleanser then ask for a sample at Barneys- that's what I did, and then I was so surprised by the results that I ended up buying a bottle!

Thank you so much for this review, which was very helpful and told me everything I wanted to know. I have sensitive and oily/combination skin but think this could work even for my finicky face. I'll check it out!
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome, Christine. You should try a sample first. Some people with oiler skin don't find this cream cleanser too rich. It didn't break me out when I used it, but if your skin is finicky you might benefit from a sample to make sure that your skin responds favorably.
