Skin Deep. You can look up the safety of the products that you use, or the safety of particular ingredients. Be aware that once you fall down this rabbit hole you will find yourself scrutinizing the safety of all of the products in your house- I know that I did. However, this does not mean that you have to throw everything away and start anew, but instead to become more discriminating in the choices that you make. Take a peek and see what you think.
