Arcona Reozone SPF 40 Review

In need of a good sunscreen for the face with about an SPF of 40, I decided to try Arcona's Reozone 40. There were two particular things that really drew me in: 1) that it was lightly tinted, and 2) it was a physical rather than chemical sunscreen. It have used numerous products by Arcona, and particularly love their body lotions- so I decided to give this a try.

Description:
Full spectrum daily sunscreen for face, neck and décolleté helps protect skin against harmful uva/uvb rays. Lightly tinted, whisper light texture is non-greasy, water resistant and oil-free. Ideal for all skin types. Protect skin from damaging UVA/UVB rays with 9% titanium dioxide and 6% zinc oxide. Soothe and restore skin with sodium hyaluronate. Helps guard against future sun damage and neutralize free radicals with antioxidant sodium selenite.

For All skin types

I absolutely love the color and consistency of this sunscreen, and also love the idea that it isn't filled with chemicals. I used it for a few days before I noticed that it was simply too drying for my skin. My skin appeared taught and dehydrated so I mixed in additional face cream, but it still proved to be a bad fit for my normal to combination skin.  I loved the concept and the quality of the product, but my skin (which can be a bit sensitive) simply didn't respond well to it. I think that this is probably best suited to oilier skin types, or those who don't have sensitive combination skin. I know that there are scores of people who swear by this product-- I just wish that I was among them.

I purchased mine at Nordstrom, but you can also get it from Arcona directly.
$28.00 for 4 oz.
